I would max out their stats before selling the candy. I haven’t finished my shiny playthrough yet. But now I plan on progressing tonight. Edit: I just noticed the Charizard you have is almost 7 feet.

yes for a catch combo to work you must catch the same Pokémon over and over again to build the catch combo. After a catch combo of 31 you have max shiny odds. So keep catching the SAME Pokémon and you will find a shiny

At the VERY Start I did as many Trainer battles as I could to have the most money I could have. I was also already buying poke balls before I got that Big pearl, and then I would sell the candy you get from the catch combo once I started shiny hunting. I didn't show that footage because it would just make the video extra long if I showed how often I did it. Again I didn't want to show that footage because the focus is on the shiny hunting and not let me so EVERY trainer battle to show how I made money. That didn't really seem fun when I made the video at the time. I DO have plans of making a video explaining easy ways to make money Early and after the post game :)

I got a shiny while hunting for a bagon on rte 3 in alola. So frustrating. I still cant get him. Ive killed so many spearow their corpses could fill a small country. Idk how you have the patience xD
