Was this building uninsulated? What was the heat source? Why was there a big parking lot below? Was the parking lot for the lodge?

@meganking4399 This building was insulated, heated with electric and the parking lot below belongs to a gas station. The lodge parking was in the back where we were walking.

Another question...the flooring and decing looked ok to me on the recording, but you seemed worried to step on it. Was it very mushy to step on? Is there a way to find the owners and ask to clean out/ salvage the loose items inside? You could perhaps sell the abandoned items with permission.

@meganking4399 there were soft spots in the floors and the decking was rotting, that's why I was apprehensive. I wouldnt know how t9 find the owner. I can't find any information on this place .

Looks like there was love there at one time. I suppose there was a death. They left things behind you wouldn't think they would. I'm glad too some folks can make a home there again. Too much waste in the world. Houses look so lonesome empty,don't they? I think that's why so many feel haunted,and people hear long ago footsteps,it's an energy. Looks like we're going to get some more snow,take care of you.😁

Happy to hear you are doing okay. We are close to town but they just plowed one strip up the street yesterday. It's covered again today. But we are in and warm and have food and water. I have younger ones that can bring aid should I need it. Country folks can survive!! Prayers for those that are having it harder,I'm thinking of you!! Take care at your house,Michelle.☃

At 5:43...the wind blowing whats left of the curtain at the window...sent chills up my spine...A very mysterious place. A mansion literally imploding on itsself. If only those walls could talk. And maybe they do when no one is around.👻 A great explore. Fascinating!!

Hold on now! Did I miss the attic, kitchen and basement tour? 😏. I can’t place your southern drawl, what State is this if you don’t mind me asking. I’d bought a home from the 1800’s and it had a half bath under the stairs, story was they had too many kids and had to add another toilet. I really love seeing videos like this, thank you!

@Riverwalker44 It's kentucky I didn't take the sketchy stairs that led to the kitchen, I've not seen attic access other than a whole in the ceiling upstairs and the basement access was blocked outside. I've since gone back with another you tuber and did see the kitchen and will put that video out soon.
