Cars need to be remotely locked and make the car aware is being stolen. We need face recognition and more conection to authorities, including serial number verification on multiple vehicile car parts and also an unswapable car computer if you do a computer swap the new computer has to verify engine code transmision or in evs battery serial number and motors and inverters. In case the dont match they need to verify with documents that the car is theirs and they are doing a legit car computer swap. This is not even hard to do or expensive, is just to verify numbers and add a new computer. New computers are unhackable and tamp resistant.

What do you mean this video isn't sponsored, it made me watch a ridge ad when I started the video and it says sponsored right under the video
@FrakkingCreations3 күн бұрын
What Ads shown are not controlled by the channel. That is a KZbin Ad you saw because Ridge wallet is paying KZbin to place an ad to you because you are who Ridge is trying to advertise to. Ads you see may or may not be related to anything you see in the video. Ads you see are based on what KZbin things you like and who the advertiser is targetting. The video is not sponsored because Ridge and Aviator did not pay me to review their products. Aviator only sent me a free wallet to review, which I do mention in the video. I differentiate the two differently, I suppose. KZbin requires creators to indicate when a video is sponsored, or free products are given, etc...all grouped together. When that checkbox is checked the video will automatically indicate that the video is a paid promotion.

There's really no reason to buy a lot of things that exist. People don't NEED the big lux house, a fancy car, expensive clothes, the latest smart home tech, expensive lattes, new phones every 2 years, expensive wallets, and on and on... But in a free world you can spend your hard earned money on the things you like. Of course, don't go broke over it. If you find value in an expensive wallet then buy it only knowing what you ARE getting and ARE NOT getting from it. Don't buy things just because KZbinrs, TikTokers, or Instagramers are telling you it's cool. Decide for yourself.

Does it keep phones with cases cool? I am looking at the Supcase MagXT for s24u. Also, do you know of a car mount to go with it?
@FrakkingCreations19 күн бұрын
It can keep phones with cases cooler, but you have to keep a few things in mind. 1) Depending on the case material and whether or not the phone' back contacts the inside of the case directly, it could affect the efficiency of how well the cooling will work. Some materials don't transfer heat as well as others. Additionally, as I mentioned in the video, the outside back of the phone or phone case should touch the cooling plate for best cooling effect. From the looks of the images of the case you are looking at, it looks like the outside of the case (MagSafe and charging coil parts) is flush, which should allow the cooling plate to directly contact the case when attached to the case, so I believe it will be ok. 2) How cool the phone can get will depend on also on how much heat the phone is generating at the time. But in general, this cooler can help cool the phone. Also keep in mind that the phone doesn't only get hot at the battery. It will also get hot at the CPU/GPU when used hard. Because the CPU/GPU is located not at the center of the phone, the CPU/GPU areas will still get warm but the cooler can still help cool the phone (when compared to no cooler) as the heat transfers from the hot areas to the cooler areas. TELESIN does make a car mount for this cooler. I provided a link to it in the video description (Suction phone car mount). This is using their ring mount, which this cooler can magnetically connect to. Hope this helps. The following situation is for phones or cases that use an add-on MagSafe ring. As I mentioned in the video, this cooler should still be able to have the cooling plate be in contact with the phone or phone case by using the telescoping feature. Just note that if using a TELESIN ring mount, the ring mount may be too thick causing the telescoping feature to not be able to get the cooling plate to touch the phone or phone case backing. I do have an idea for getting around this, but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. If there is enough interest, I can look into it.
@Random-me8tw18 күн бұрын
@@FrakkingCreations Thank you! I may try the mount, but I may go with the LISEN cooler instead. According to some of the reviews, the car mount may not fit with the cooler, the magnets don't line up.

Just to be sure. I can use an empty/spare fuse slot, without having to worry about important vehicle functions like abs/ecu and such? As the empty slots are obviously not used for anything right? Might be a stupid question but you never know.
@FrakkingCreations19 күн бұрын
I believe empty fuse slots can't really have anything running on them since no fuse equals no power. Though, I don't know if there are any scenarios where that isn't true. I would make sure in the vehicle documentation that it really isn't used for anything else and is really empty/spare. I have heard some people say that there may be a lower limit on those lines for how much power they can handle. Not sure if it's true. I would just not pull more that 10 A from those lines. Again if the documentation says it should be lower for the slot then follow that. Most dash cams are good with a 3 A fuse. Check with your dash cam documentation to be sure.

8:35 if inserted in the wrong orientation, the fuse tap will still protect the dash cam wiring. But, the main disadvantage is, if the piggy-backed circuit blows its fuse, then the dash cam will no longer get power even though the dash cam wiring and its fuse is still fine. When inserted in the correct orientation, then the dash cam will still get power and be protected by its fuse even if the fuse of the piggy-backed circuit blows.

Might be a dumb question, for dashcams can both the BAT and ACC plugs be plugged into spares? Or is there usually no spares for BAT?
@FrakkingCreations21 күн бұрын
I haven't had any problems with spares so far. Not drawing too much power from the spare slot would be a good thing to keep in mind. Most dash cams will run fine with 3A fuse. As for spares for BATT, I think that would be dependent on the vehicle.

i used to live in Edmonton, AB where average winter temp is around -20C. largely i would say if you are dealing with less than -10C for an extended amount of time, go with a block heater. However as an alternative, I will say this: change your oil to a 0W20 or 0w30 in fall and make sure you have an AGM battery installed, as an extra I would also suggest iridium spark plugs. I was able to start my car in -40C with these changes... the main thing is the oil which will flow significantly better than 5W oil. AGM batteries tend to have higher cold cranking amps and recharge much faster than conventional lead acid batteries, the iridium spark plugs have a better combustion spark with lower voltage needed due to a finer tip. So basically you are getting the power to start the car, enough spark to start combustion, and a low enough viscosity for the engine to turn over. If you are dealing with temps close to freezing (0C) I would not bother with 0W oil to be honest as it's not really worth it and the effect on starting is negligible.

Will it run my battery dead if I plug it in a cigarette lighter that’s one when the car is off?
@FrakkingCreations25 күн бұрын
It depends. Here are some things to note. 1) some vehicles have cigarette lighter sockets that stay on when the vehicle is turned off. If you use a dash cam in such a socket then you would need one that supports parking mode. In particular one that can detect the voltage of the car battery. This way it would allow you to set the voltage value that it would power off at, thereby protecting the battery from full discharge. 2) Most new vehicles don't have always on sockets (some do like SUVs that have an always on socket like in the trunk area). If you find a socket that seems to be on when the vehicle is turned off, you have to make sure that you test it after 10 minutes or more with the vehicle off. Nowadays some sockets stay powered for a few minutesal after the vehicle is turned off, then self power off after. Best to check the documentation of your vehicle.

@ yeah I ordered a cam to supports parking mood and I have a cigarette lighter socket to stays on so I just wanted to make sure I wouldn’t kill my battery. Thank you
@FrakkingCreations25 күн бұрын
Ah ok. Just make sure your dash cam can detect the car battery voltage internally and provides a setting for you to set the cutoff voltage.
@FrakkingCreations25 күн бұрын
Not all parking modes are created equal. Some dash cams require a hardwire kit that detects the vehicle's voltage (and not the dash cam itself) and if you use one of those types of dash cams it won't be able to properly cutoff at a particluar voltage to protect your battery.

To bad everyone forgets smashed windows to get into the vehicle,when no key. thieves short circuit the ignition by destroying the steering wheel.
@FrakkingCreations25 күн бұрын
That's only really true of much much older vehicles without immobiliser systems. Can't do that with modern cars that have immobiliser systems or keyless entry/keyless start systems. Before keyless entry systems became available, and physical keys were still used... Immobiliser systems in the vehicles required car keys that have a matching wireless chip inside them in order to be able to start the vehicle. This system would prevent hotwiring and copied keys (without a matching chip inside) from working. It pretty much prevented these kinds of thefts. Now that keyless entry systems have come into the picture, their weaknesses are currently being exploited. Things like Relay attacks, roll jams, can bus injection, etc are being used now.

I would check all the connections and make sure all connectors are pushed in all the way. Did you select a FitDVR that supports your vehicle? If that still doesn't work, I would try contacting FitDVR support. I'm wondering if you may have a defective unit.
