Dear Sailing Melody family. 👍👌👏 2) Thank you for the extended tour of the interior. You've come quite far since you bought the derelict boat. Especially Jack's wonderful cabin is a masterpiece. By the way: This very well educated decent boy has grown into a young man (including the voice). I guess that the little and kind of cute marine washing machine will almost run non stop while you're underway. You own an impressive array of electric power storage devices. Congratulations 🎉 ! All the new wiring is done very professional and the engine room looks very tidy too. It was a beasty job to do all that in this limited space. By the way: The only thing that I would miss is a full size shower (because I'm a rather tall/big guy). Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all four of you.

Men’s guide to cutting women’s hair: 1, make her wear a horizontally striped top 2, wet the hair and comb down the back 3, choose which stripe on the back is the suitable length 4, cut along the stripe (maybe use a spirit level to make sure the stripes are straight) easy!

You can recut a spinnaker but it will make a lousy asymmetric. Mark the midline between the head and the foot. Gather from each side of centre to take the fullness of the symmetric out. Stitch it with a sewing machine. Dont cut the sail until you try it out and are happy with it. It may still be too full in which case flying it on a close reach will be useless. Generally you lose the benefit of a genuine asymmetric. They really don't work as well as a symmetric on a pole with the wind aft of the beam. I think you are better either keeping it to use as a spinnaker or selling it and getting an asymmetric or a code zero. A cut down spinnaker will never get the same shape as an asymmetric and will have much more limited angle of use as it will still be too full in shape to set on a reach. Given your limited family crew a roller reefed cutter rig and twin poles would be a better and steadier more balanced off wind solution with much lighter sheet loads than spinnakers, code zeros or asymmetric. Best of wishes to you all from N Wales. N.B.Sorry to see no visible change to Steel Melody in P. Penryn since your sale.

I hope this message finds you well. As a KZbin thumbnail designer, I focus on creating visually appealing thumbnails that resonate with your brand. If you're interested, I can design a sample thumbnail for you to assess. Should it meet your standards, we can explore future work together. I’m excited to hear your thoughts!
Dear Melissa, Andy, Oliver and captain Jack, Nice job is done by Andy to let the entrance hedge of Ocean Melody running as on a new boat. Melissa seems to be a great hairdresser. The most impressive part of this vlog was to see how clever and cute Oliver is. Willeke and I look forward to your next vlog and send you love from The Netherlands

Is there anything you can't do?!! I was upside down behind the engine yesterday wondering how to get the prop shaft nut back on, eventually got it moving with the help of a thread file that, after some time, gradually sorted out the damaged thread on the very end of the prop shaft. I wouldn't have managed it without such a wealth of information available from You Tubers like you. Makes you think! The first time I used You Tube to show me how to do something was when I needed to replace a guitar string. Just trying to point out (badly) that what you are doing is of great value.

Nylon chopping board can make great runners. Not a lot of friction. Find one thick enough and cut into strips.

Nice hair cut on Andy, but adding the flea powder might have been a bit too much. Gold star too, for not blaming Ollie.

An asymmetrical kite isn’t just a symmetrical with one luff shorter it has an asymmetrical profile as well, like a jib. But for cruising I suppose whatever works. Cheers
@SailingMelody5 күн бұрын
Yours correct of course. But we can’t afford to buy an assymetrical and we’ve heard lots of people talking about modifying a symmetrical into a cruising chute

I think that being a subscriber we should get the same videos as those who can get extra content for a few quid not saying the same week it makes me feel it’s not fare because they can afford it and a lot like me don’t have money to throw about can’t afford it through no fault of my own.❤

I know what you mean. It’s simply a way of saying thanks when someone sends us something, we make sure to message them personally with a little video or whatever to say thanks, which I think is the right thing to do. Whether that’s a cup of coffee or an ice cream or help on the boat we try to say thanks to everyone. And than YOU for being a subscriber. You are amazing!!!

Hey guys, I have watched you since very early on. My honest opinion is keep the boat or maybe do some short hop stuff. It's a dangerous place out there at times. The thought of being responsible for you family including two young kids is massive. You seem to be quite easily stressed Andy. Just my thoughts. Cheers.
