The grrat thing about a ferrari is that it makes you realize it's just a car. They all are. There's nothing special about any of these expensive cars.

Ferrari is following the same ignorant path that Mercedes Benz followed in the 1990s in the USA and they will end up in the same place. Slowly ruining their brand, ignoring mounting quality problems while selling expensive junk to the masses based upon their past brand of excellence.

Appreciated your honesty... Kids of ungodly Ferrari owners making KZbin videos telling us about their woes.... Never had those problems with the cars I've handed it by 6 family.. Cars coating 1/6 the price.... American age Japanese.... What's the point of having a"fun car" if it's one character headache??

Sometimes it's luxury marque dealer's mechanics being overworked and underpaid. They did servicing for years but it had two dead cylinders for 6 years in a row. A scanner told me. They have better scanners. They just let it be broken while smiling. Who knows, maybe extreme incompetence, maybe greed for selling a new engine. An engine blowing up in an intersection is a frightening experience - as I have had happen.

Great video. I, alike, enjoy road trips. I’m no stranger to 5, 6,000 kilometer drives because I prefer to drive as I hate flying but I genuinely enjoy the open roads. Wifey usually joins me one way and flies back. We loved Lake Como in 2018 but I want to go back and make a road trip throughout the Alpes. Greetings from San Diego, California.

I have a handful of B&O products, also have the 705S3 by Bowers and Wilkins. I've always thought the Devialet's looked good but tend to purchase other brands, don't really like the Devialet style since it seems to only fit a niche house style.

Awesome points, well said. Being actually clean does not involve driving for the first 100 things you could improve. So I produce my own electricity and extra. I use that to cook, bathe, heat, drive. That’s mine. You can’t take that away from me. My electricity provider made a “mistake” and for the last two years the entire country paid 2-4 times more than used, convenient mistake, and after 4 months of discussions they told me to pay or else. So yes, I produce my own now. People say that in an emergency you are left stranded in an ev - A 911 does not go as far as my EV (tank vs charge), so would the world end we’re equally screwed, if running away becomes a need. But for putting miles stuck in traffic I see no better partner for a 911 than a Mini Cooper SE. Throw all the soul sucking miles on a cheap enough, fun enough car, and enjoy the 911 the rest of the time. Most of my 35.000 km a year are not fun, why depreciate the poor 911? And I do do most things from your list, but for my sake, I know there is zero difference, and the good I do in a year goes out the window when my neighbour burns tires for some winter holiday in the street. Apparently Santa had Goodyear’s. You said in a video that the 911 is as quiet as an electric and you appreciate the exhaust being quiet - a dude came to my kids kindergarten with the exhaust on - very bad taste if you ask me, made me dislike the car, for a while. So the ev makes me silent, no heads are turning, I pump my own “gas” and I am as independent as a 911 in case we run out of fuel and have to escape to some mythical land 600km away. These are for me the benefits, not saving the world with a new car every 3 lease years. My ev is close to 6 years old. I need at least another 4 to discuss maintenance costs, it was zero until now, coming from some high costs before, it is a huge plus, but we’ll see. Love the channel. Great work. I am sure we’d agree on most if not all points if we were to discuss them. The rest, put on me not being native. Cheers!

Great follow-up! I reckon you should name the dealership! 'Ferrari' can take no credit here - this was a random dealership (probably even a family business), taking it entirely upon themselves to ameliorate some of the damage done by a previous experience. This was basically a Ferrari enthusiast going the extra mile to rebalance the World!

There are very, very few quality built performance that combine build quality, excitement, style and performance. I've always loved the styling of Ferrari and of course the sound but I don't believe I will ever buy one when there are far superior rivals that perform better, more reliable and much more reasonable to maintain.

One of the major issues then is that the technicians at the dealers dont know their job aren't trained enough or are just incompetent.

The horrors hear about McLaren supercars are hardly ever discussed.. like cars spontaneously bursting up in flames, and the company simply ignoring the customers and stonewalling them. Inspecting (just spectating) a mid-engine Ferrari once during a local car show didn't leave me super impressed.. because this was just an overblown cart, and that's what supercars like Pista are supposed to be. While everything said about a Ferrari seem to be true, what are the alternatives really? McLaren services are worse, though they are more likely to treat you like a king because they need to market cars, when it matters, they might not be as polite. Lambos? it's a niche maker of mid engine cars only. is there anything that you can buy, if you want a Ferrari?

I owned a lovely F430 spider. One of the most nervous 18 months of car ownership in my life waiting for something to go wrong, but it rarely did. I could afford to run the car, but I wouldn't class myself as particularly very wealthy, but a very nervy experience as it always felt that something was about to break

The reason Ferrari owners don’t post these things is the fear of Ferrari black listing them. Like so many luxury items there is a wait list - they can afford to remove people from their customer base in such circumstances.

Ethan, back in the early 1970s my boss was following his passion which had always been cars he started collecting Ferrari's he had 4 and 1 Maserati and a porch he ended up hiring a full time fixit guy .and is was never ending issues . So it does not look like they are really interesting in improving quality at all just pumping out fix it cars. I was just watching one of Jay Leno's garage blogs . he was saying about Ferrari you have to hand someone at the dealer ship an envelope of money and he is just not interested in doing business like that . Also you have to buy lower grade models be fore they will sell you what you really want . There is something wrong with this picture and business model. good luck with your new toy they are fun .

I discovered a cigarette lighter plug on the passenger side in the way back on the side of the center... I use it to power my radar detector (bc the usb ports on the center don't put out enough power to power it ) - it works great. It's also where you are supposed to plug in a trickle charger

I picked up a set last year and use them extensively. I was looking for a Sennheiser headphones to replace my Focal unit I use for listening to music and editing videos. They were ok but sounded better with a DAC amp. New Sennheiser's weren't available after the pandemic and took a while to get in stock, so I tried B&O and the BH95, while sounding low, had really good sound, so I bought them. I'm in South East Asia, as my main headphones, I use them on flights, to edit videos and for listening to music. The noise cancelling works quite well on planes, sitting behind the engine, even blocked out a screaming baby. My concerns are that the headband has started to come apart (less than 1 year I noticed this), I almost lost one of the ear pads, popped off when I was taking my bag out of the overhead bin (was around my neck) and luckily another passenger, picked it up and passed it to me. It happened a few more times, making me thing, they should have gone with some stronger magnets. The case is bulky to travel with but, that is where mine stays. It would be nice if they also provided a soft case to put them in for travel. I like that they can be folded to lessen the size and that was of the reasons I got them. I've use their in ear devices but, that was hijacked by my wife and as I get older, in ear phones hurt my ear after long use. The H100 is now out, for even more cost but, with a user replaceable headband section (nice) as well as the ear pads (similar magnetic type) and now comes with spatial audio, Bluetooth 5.3 and some other tech. Seemingly, it's missing some other tech for Android users and other feature that will come in a firmware update later. I'm not so sure the $1549 price is warranted for this unit. I don't see myself getting it for that price, looks nice though.
