Thank you for this very useful tutorial. I’m going to try both whitetail and bull elk. Do you recommend velveting at all?
@StevenParente6 сағат бұрын
Thank you Sarah! You might try velveting, although axis deer if usually very tender and tenderizing with a mallet does the job. But it might help with elk and whitetail. I did use a brine for wild sheep and goat, especially for goat, and it worked out very well.

Thanks so much for posting this tape. Joe was my first accordion teacher in the mid 50s, and I still have my bright red Petosa from way back then that my parents scrimped and saved to buy for me. Unfortunately, I was a typical kid and lost interest by the time I was in high school. I played occasionally for my kids, but never seriously. I’m now 79 and one of my daughters twisted my arm to get the old accordion out and play a little for the grandkids. As I was playing Bella Mia I started wondering if Joe ever recorded it so I could hear how it was supposed to sound like, and lo and behold I found your KZbin post. I’ll never play it like he did, but it’s sure fun to listen to and remember the accordion band we had back at Whitaker Elementary school in Portland. Thanks again for the memories!

You made my day Ray! Grandpa Joe loved playing his accordion and it's so cool knowing that you were one of his students. It's never too late to bring out that beautiful Petosa and play again. Music is the key to longevity in my opinion! thanks for listening and reaching out. I'm sharing this with my family. We just visited Italy and saw several great accordion players. If you feel like it, post a photo of you and your accordion in the comments! 😃🪗

PostiveGrid has several how-to videos on their KZbin channel and also instructions on their website. Great video and I agree with others here. Older Roland Micro cubes are a real pain taking apart. That foam around top of chassis is like glue! I ended up taking out grill and speaker to prod, lever and pry chassis out. One thing that baffles me. Part number you gave is for Roland MONO 1/4" 3 pin PCB jack, when you pulled out a Roland 4-pin STEREO 1/4 jack? Did they have same part number? I got a 3 pin one based with that part number. Bit confused.
@StevenParente14 күн бұрын
I found out that a hair dryer can help loosen the adheisive. The part number I gave for the input jack was what Roland sent me. Roland won't send parts anymore, according to people's input, but I'd still try to contact them and see if they'll send one. Some people have said they soldered in a regular input jack and it worked. My amp worked great after soldering in the jack that Roland sent me and I gifted it to a music teacher for guitar students. Thanks for watching!

@StevenParente21 күн бұрын
Timberland has several sizes. Measure the suitcase dimensions and search for replacement wheels with your size of suitcase. Most of the replacement wheels being sold, usually have a photo or drawing with several dimensions in order to match your suitcase. I'd recommend avoiding those that don't. Yes, I had screws and rivets in my wheels. I tried to do the same thing and couldn't even budge the screws. I have no idea why. But I was able to easily unscrew the who assemblies, as shown in my video. It would be great if you could somehow drill out the rivets and just replace the wheels with skateboard wheels. Good to see that one can buy wheels that match. Was fighting my wheels which roll okay but swivel poorly-making the thing roll to one side. I’ll probably replace with generic swivel wheels with bearings and expect to do it again in a year or five.
