La Conner Guitar Festival 2023

I just learned about the La Conner Guitar Festival. The vast majority of the guitars on display [99% of them] are acoustic guitars. From my research of this festival, I've only seen 3 electric guitars at the festival. Is this just an Acoustic Guitar festival or would they allow an electric guitar maker display his or her guitars?

The majority of luthiers are acoustic, but there were a few, very nice electric guitar makers, including the ones that I have in this video. Tim Ferrell is playing a very unique solid body electric at 9:44 in and Sean McGowan is playing a few beautiful hollow body electrics by Brown Guitars, starting at around 1:35:33. Some of the acoustic luthiers make hollow body electrics. There was even a cigar box guitar maker. It's a great festival and I'd be going again, but I'll be on a Joe Bonnamassa, Keeping the Blues Alive cruise, which is at the same time as the 2024 festival. I would highly recommend contacting the festival. There's a lot of people who attend, including the publisher of the Fretboard Journal, Jason Verlinde. Thanks for watching!
