Required thickness 12.51 and nominal corroded thickness 11.8? It shall be wrong brother. Also 15 thk plate wont be available in the market.

I am doing a FEA analysis of pressure vessels. Slightly different from ASME div 2 due to the seismic load involved, I have modeled the shell with corroded allowance. But do I consider Weld Joint efficiency while modeling the shell? My peak stresses are due to the saddle support [near the support].

In the max allowable stress formula you are talking about finish thickness = corrosion allowance but selecting minimum thickness you calculated.
