Fights with a lot of movement, demo is going to suffer a lot. You'll want a destro/affi offspec for them. All raids will have an ele sham, so don't worry about the loss of buff. Destro and affi use basically the same secondary stats.

Maxcam addon sometimes exists, but I just googled max camera zoom and eventually one of the commands works

I would have done so but my wotlk guilds second run died and I said meh lol. I might do a vid on it still with some mediocre footage I have of it though. Parsing it is pretty terrible. Just gotta pad off of adds a ton

Didn't watch the video, but no warlock doesnt suck. Good dps overall from the 3 specs, brings 5% crit and 8% spelldamage regardless of spec (wich make it a must have in 10 mans), good spell cleave with aff wich will be usefull on t11, demono being amazing for any monotarget bosses. Add to that DI, a res battle, HS. You'll definitively want one in 10 man, and some in 25.

Everything besides frost mage and bm hunter is basically viable in cata. With fire mage, surv hunter, arms warrior, ele sham & rogue being the best

Edit: Yep, shoulders are 7 spell power and 5 int which is very good and new bis. The belt is the same stats. Less spell power than a belt of fiery wrath let's say, but super solid still. Super cheap to craft too!

Absolutely sensational! I haven't played tank as warlock still. Although I must admit Music was great but sorta wish you could explain a little on some details for noobs like me on tanking for example about your opener spell and spells you use to generate threat or do high dps as a tank, which conumables you use or what enchants you have applied to your gear are they stamina or ... Tnx a million for this video.

Love your videos! Quick question, my guild's not complaining but is saying for my gear score I'm not doing as high dps as I should be according to parses. I play Demo lock to help support the guild. Any advice on what I might could be doing wrong? Most say I'm probably clipping dots but I don't understand exactly when I should be recasting. Anything advice would be greatly appreciated!

As for immolate I have a weakaura in the description for my panel and it will glow when you can recast it and not clip it. The other dots you just allow them to fall and reapply after it's completely done. This video kinda helps with the basics of demo, but every boss can vary strats and philosophy as well. I highly recommend checking out my "How To Pump" series for ICC to see what I suggest doing on any boss. I have no doubt you'll figure it out at some point, though. Also, feel free to dm me or join my discord and ask questions galore. I love to help! ❤️

I just dual specced to demo to help buff the raid in ICC. I'm still confused when to meta and what is the correct execution. Any quick advice?

In general use it on pull and on cooldown from there unless execute is coming up soon then you can wait a little bit. During lust is super valuable so always shoot for this if possible. Lady Deathwhisper comes to mind as a time where getting Meta in lust is sometimes difficult

What is the Blistering Cold tech being used at around 5:10? I've seen it happen in my raid before and on livestreams and videos but haven't heard an explanation yet as to how to replicate it.

Two ideas that could make the Tank spec for warlocks even better. First give warlocks a glyph of sorts that allows them to change their metamorphisis' model to instead be a different demon, like a pitlord, doom lord, or even perhaps an infernal. A dreadlord might be fun too perhaps. Secondly, give warlocks a new rune of sorts that allows the void walker to become the main tank instead, allowing you to play the role of a healer to your voidwalker and keep the ranged damage dealing class identity of warlocks.

I like the second one… using curses and drain life like spells to empower your demon. It could be a different style of tanking where you steal different things from the enemies (mana using enemies empower the seam on differently)

am trying to understand i dont think pet will survive soul link damage in raids as u tank, i tihink it might be better to go Deep Destro and some Demonology not so sure yet tho

Nah just have Healers heal it lol. I think you'll need soul link in naxx otherwise you'll just go splat anyways. I could be wrong, but soul link is actually massive

i like a lot of the lock runes. i see some cool play stiles to try. probably not for phase one but master channeler, shadow bolt volley, everlasting aff in a nightfall build seems fun.

Hmm maybe. Cataclysm is kinda bad. Devastation is okay i guess but only for shadow cleave. Sounds more threat focused which is fine. Imp corruption sounds better to me than cataclysm honestly. ISB is a pretty good idea though

@@Nukinfutzzz Cataclysm is going to reduce the mana cost of Cleave, Rain of Fire and Searing Pain. I think the plan for most content is going to be Engrave into Lake of Fire because of how insane it’s going to be for AOE threat and damage. It’ll increase the damage and TPS of Searing Pain and likely Engineering bombs. Rain of fire only needs to take once to put Lake down for 15 seconds which is nuts.

The Shadow volley rune is probably also good. Put up corruptions and refresh 3 with Shadow Cleave.

Master Channeler, Metamorphosis will be amazing for drain tanking. At higher levels once you get Soul Link and Felhunter you will not only have amazing armor increase from form but you'll have crazy resistances! Also if you're going tank spec, improved curse of weakness is S tier talent choice
