I Love all these monsters! tbh, my mom used to have people gift her weird porcelain dolls just like the movie version of the Annabelle doll when she was a little girl. i was also given a couple porcelain dolls as a little girl (although they werent freaky looking). so my mom HATES porcelain dolls because they unnerved her and she had so many of them against her will. it’s not *that* out there since i guess there was just a time period where giving kids porcelain dolls was kinda normal? i’d also honestly have a harder time finding a rag doll creepy because i had the raggedy ann and andy dolls as a kid and they’re just too cute looking to be believable as a horror prop (even if that’s what Annabelle was irl)

The apple Bob lore should be as if Johnny Appleseed was “spreading his seed,”until some random person severs his head because he hates apples and left him dead. He comes back to life and places an apple on his head. With vengeance in mind, he goes on a killing spree. He still wants to spread the joy of apples, so he continues spreading the apple seed everywhere he goes. All his kills include an apple (like choking someone with a whole apple or drowning someone in apple juice,etc.) to give the message of don’t mess with the apple.

I knew someone who was Skriddled. They didn't speak and had that haunted look in their eyes, like they had seen some unfathomable horror. They twitched and jerked away in fear whenever you went to reach out to them in comfort. The only word they said was the name of the beast "Skriddlerskriddlerskeiddler..."

I’m imagining someone walking about on Halloween just vibing, not wanting to dress up that year, and someone walks up and goes, “Are you One of Them?” It ruins his holiday. But everyone who walks around on Halloween, not dressed up, is able to say they’re dressing up as One of Them. People aren’t quite sure if they should ask, as it might be rude. This results in it being one of the most mysterious Halloween monsters, because its ambiguity reaches into real life and everyone on Halloween, dressed up or not, is unwittingly participating just by the collective awareness of the monster’s existence. For that reason alone, One Of Them wins the contest for best new Halloween monster. That’s a lasting cultural legacy.

was rewatching some of the "all on one canvas" videos and i had the thought that it might be cool to see a speed draw but from all of you at once maybe? like, just all of you work together with no goofs and no sabotage and see how four artists can really do when all pooling together into one piece at the same time. like, maybe do it as a scene or landscape so that you can add a bunch of stuff in as you like. would be fun to see a huge scene in four different art styles all together coming to life in speed draw format. dunno how it would do for a video longer than maybe 15 minutes but still might be fun.
