Just got done removing stock turbos last night, it would have been an absolute nightmare without your guys’s help as i have never done anything like this before. Going to start on putting the single in and re routing all the lines. Willing to bet ill be watching part 2 for a while today. Thanks for all the work you guys put into these videos, not missing anything and giving a detailed walk through of how to do the swap.

17:32 Although the entire walk through is a greate reference, and know what to look out for or expect. Be careful on this part as it does not apply to all cars that carry the N54. Some N54 cars the diamon which is the "high side" belong on the outside. So before you change your TOB, check to see first how it is installed before installing the new one. You will notice one side is larger than other for high or low. All N54 cars do not use the same transmission.

I have the oil drain aimed down like that too but it seems like it fills my drain tube all the way to the turbo where it consumes it all.. smokes so much. Maybe it is something else but i think this is the problem. Hope you can help me out!

i had a terrible experience with revshift. i went a different route for mounts and had a set of their mounts unopened and unused, they ghosted me for weeks about returning them. had to corner them on social media to get a response. then they had me return them sent them signature required. they had them for over a month no refund.. emailed for weeks an again, no response.. and again had to corner them on social media on one of their facebook posts to get them to respond. had to send them pics of the signature receipt confirmation finally got the automated invoice showing a reciepr ws issued.. sent one last email letting them know i was a potential future customer (spend over $20k/year doing car restorations, rebuiilds on porsche ( doing an ls3 cayman swap at the moment) , have 4 porsches and 4 bmws that are all getting lots of love, and building 2 race cars, ab 87 928 ls swapped beast and a caged 328 convertable caged ls swapp Their repsonse was only "well your refund was processed, good day" i was using corvette mounts/isolators for my ls cayman swap. i ordered these for that project, but then i was able to instead get the prothane, and when i saw the quality difference. i had the revshift still when the prothane arrived and oh my god what a difference... get the prothane, they are massive beasts and indescribably better quality than the revshift. they are a ittle more $ but the difference is night and day.. i figured id compare the two and return the one i thought was the worse deal.. then the headache started

the cam sprockets/chain don't need lined up/marked, it's all held by tension, so they can be moved independently of the camshaft prior to tightening them back onto the cam with the reluctor rings held in place and the cams held in place by the cam tool. and uh.. shoul dhave checked the bearings before startup, not to mention lifter rattle/racket is a MUCH different sound from rod knock/bad rod bearings, it's also higher in the engine, not lower. second you started it, i went "Who the hell thought that was lifters!?, that is some seriously bad rod knock"
