I truly pity the souls who feel pity for self serving narcissists like all of the Roys, the only one I felt bad was Logan as he had to call the circus that were his Children family. They are all rich , pretentious and power hungry.

When Tom didn't betray Greg during Boars on the Floor, you could tell he wasn't as mean as he wanted to be with how he treated Greg for most of season 1. He wants to be the evil corporate badass but he actually likes people, he gets to sit on the throne b/c Matsson sees he's a people pleaser and will do what he's told. And in the end all Tom wants for himself is to save his best friend in the world, no matter how Greg has treated him in return

Man in the 3rd season when Andante Agitato plays, Logan is a man who, on an off-day, can tell the FBI to fuck off, he has that kind of power, whereas when this track plays in season 4, he's almost reduced to nothing, he's gone, dead and Andante Agitato takes on a whole new meaning, instead of it being a signature of the dizzying heights of power that the Roy family has accrued, Agitato reaches its crescendo and the giant, the titan, the behemoth that was Logan Roy is now a corpse being trundled of a plane, nothing more than that, and the fall for his family rapidly approaches over the rest of the season. Nicholas Britell is a bleeting genius and the employ of Agitato in this scene is a mark of that genius.

How did Tom get ceo and not one of the Roy's.
@Z3r0_89020 күн бұрын
Because they lost the vote to Mattsson, he appointed Tom as CEO instead of one of the Roys because he wanted someone who would do exactly what he said.

@Z3r0_890 ahh. But Roy's would still be rich right ?

@@Michaelkayslay Just finished a rewatch, and yes. The episode where they go to Norway ends with Mattsson giving an offer of $192 per share. The birthday episode says he has around 12.9m shares, which means he'd get around $24,768,00,000. I assume the other 3 siblings own a similar amount

I think if Logan didn't die, there is still a very high possibility he would have made Tom as his successor. Of all the 3 siblings, I think Roman got what he wanted most. To be free. Hence the smirk he did at the end.

Ken denying that he killed the waiter was the ultimate betrayal of himself. The fact that he felt real, heavy remorse over what happened there was proof that there was a real person underneath all of his mess, and it's what separated him from Logan. The fact that, when it came between him and the job, that he was able to throw his guilt under the bus, makes him no different from his father. He deserved what he got
@robaidhinnes8678Ай бұрын
Call me an optimist but I like to think that this is a positive ending for Kendall. What we see here is him at his lowest possible low: an utterly unbearable weight of failure on his shoulders. He has failed to become what he had essentially devoted his life to achieving: a man worthy of matching (perhaps succeeding) his father as the front man of the business. He responds and behaves as stupefied as one would expect given the circumstances. But in spite of all of that and how agonising it must be for him in the moment and for a long while after - he is finally free of the torment. The uncertainty, the tribulation and the burden of it all now completely evaporated. I like to think that if he has the will to pick himself back up and carry on, he can and will be able to carve a new life and purpose for himself now that he is totally absolved of the imposed responsibility of succession. Perhaps he could even devote himself to more meaningful and healthy pursuits such as rebuilding organic relationships with those important to him once more. It is hard to see the light when the ending is so intentionally abrupt and morose, but in equal part to that point, the goal he had consigned himself to was decided and finished within an instant; all within the limited confines of a boardroom full of jaded old mutuals of Logan’s. Kendall’s goal, at the end of the day, was conscripted to him by the abuse of his father. Now that he is free of both his clasp and the clutches of that ambition… perhaps he can finally move forward in his own direction, on his own terms.

Also kids ep1 one was basically s4 ep 10 tomorrow with being a puppet dog shiv denying she want a chair at big boys club but at same time don’t want ken to strap in for daddy job and rest kids just go both ways whenever their is a shift …. Ppl say they evolve throughout the seasons i say they did not basically more drama but same character and trauma 😅 poor ken killer but not a actual killer u know … shiv blew everything in the last moments… daddy goodbye , last boarding vote , the trio startup , the wedding night 😅 that was just awful and loathing 😅

In my opinion, the one who became better is Shiv. She realistically made the best choice in the whole series. Kendall is drug addicted psychopath, Roman is pervert and uneducated and she herself is unexperienced and with too much of ego. In the end, they are both together with Tom and their future looks promising, she is pregnant and they will have baby. Shiv is the one who grew up
