@Zechariah Ahl I get this but one thing I don't quite understand is, the boys won. Like I know they weren't interested in selling but that was like 15 minutes before this scene. Mattson always had the option to go over their heads so to think the boys lost simply because they sold way over the asking price..... I don't know, I don't feel for it at all.

I don't know why people read this scene as a win for Roman or that he's having his 'Logan' moment. Logan would never reveal emotional turmoil in the middle of such a huge deal, let alone directly to the person he's in negotiations with. Roman was impulsive and emotional here. It's cathartic, yes, but not in a way that benefits his or Ken's proud little designs for holding on to waystar. Mattson seems completely bemused by it, and immediately goes behind them to the board, which shows just how quickly they lost whatever small amount of respect he had left for them before this scene.

But Lukkas won the trip, he was on top of the every move by knowing they were releasing the fake stories and showing the shitty movie as a sign of “this is what you will deal with”. He knew there every move then he turned their sister against them. He offered 196b because he knows that they would have to say yes because the board would have got rid off Roman and Ken for tryna screw the deal. That’s why he asked to see their face ls to shiv because he knew they were cornered in to saying yes and weren’t that ecstatic. These kids aren’t like their dad at all, they have bits of their dad. Truth be told, people want more …much more of this Logan Roy world HBO should produce a show about the early life of Logan Roy: showing Logan in the years when he put Conners mom in a mental facility and when he married 2nd wife and when the kids were very young but there should be flash backs to Logan’s childhood and formidable years with his brother and whatever went down with Logan’s sister sort of like the God father part 2 flashbacks. Showing Logan’s uncle beating him, forming the emotional and psychological framework for Logan’s life and how he became the person we see in succession. There is still so much fans would like to know about Logan Roy and how he came to be. It would be a home run for WBD HBO if it is done correctly and casting the Young Logan Roy correctly.
