I am pale pale....I need this, and yes I do need to darken my photos so I do not lose the nose.... I will try it this foundation, next time I buy make up, plus most of the time my skin is oily/normal...sometimes dry. This could work for me. Thanks for the video, I was googling to find info about it.

Hi! Those are not the correct style to use with makeup. You need the matte finish. Your sticker placement is also pretty high. I have been using these tapes every day for over a year & have tried every way imaginable. If your eyelids are oily, first use eyeshadow primer, then powder or eyeshadow next stickers. I like using MAC Paint Pot bc it’s an easy all in one. If you stick them to skin without any prepping, they will slide around & come off within hours. Also I like using them w natural eyeshadow bc they are a slightly darker shade than my skin & give a nice color to my crease.

I ended up getting blepharoplasty surgery to remove my excess skin, so no longer use eyelid tape. Thanks for your tips!

Your eyes look like they’ve not had surgery - Which is a huge compliment! More skin off might have given you that weird stare some people get after this surgery. You know they’ve had something done because something looks ‘off’

💯 I tell anyone that’ll listen! I turned 42 this spring & thee last two years have been horrid! The hot flushes ,flashes & night sweats turn into panic attacks. I have always been anxious so now it feels like literal panic disorder. I’ve become afraid of things I wasn’t even scared of before, as if my own shadow 😱 scares me! I get dizzy, vertigo, & annoying tinnitus. This list goes on & on. Trying to 💪🏻 suffer thru this with natural means is difficult especially when I don’t have any friends to talk to about it or even just to help get my mind off of it. 🤗

I'm so happy this worked well for you! I can see the difference since I've followed you forever. But you look great (you have always been beautiful!) My grandmother needed this surgery due to age, and I may need to follow in her footsteps lol. A gentle comment...I also have several chronic health conditions. Don't downplay how you react to people. Sometimes we don't have a choice. But if you feel something is off, trust your gut. I had a Dr that was SO awful I dissociated right there as she did a breast exam (I had found a lump, it was benign). I refused to go back. Thank you for always sharing your experiences!

I had to have this surgery done because my hoods were obstructing my vision. In the initial assessment, the doctor determined I needed a brow lift as well to really make a difference for my vision. The insurance paid for it all. They eyelid surgery part didn't really leave me with pain; but the browlift was not so much fun. I would say, my true results didn't show until maybe a year after. It all took quite a while to completely heal.
@Phyrra

Thank you for sharing about the brow lift and your pain levels with eye surgery. And yes, healing time can vary wildly. It's crazy to me how some of the surgeries take a year to see the final results.

Hi Cordelia, I had PMDD, it was a torture, I basically had a few days out of the month where I was 'myself'. What eliminated it for me and off the back of a lot of research myself was '5 htp'. This will function like an SSRI but it will not imo give you the side effects of an SSRI. I do still like to cycle it (just stop taking week of period) but you will know if you are taking too much if you see the kind of sexual side effects you've get from SSRIs. This is now something I can't be without. Lots of the time PMDD does not really show up in hormone test, you can appear to be fine but your hormones and neurotransmitters work in sync and I think this is the link a lot of people overlook.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I have a couple aunts who've had blepharoplasty. They were able to get insurance to cover it because it was causing vision issues---throwing that out there mostly for anyone considering it but worried about cost. I hate the idea of getting surgery, but having hooded eyes similar eyes to that side of my family, I know it's something I may have to consider in another decade or so. I also have chronic dry eye, which makes it a bit more concerning. Eyes! They're so complicated! How long was it before you were allowed to wear eye makeup again?
@Phyrra

I think it was about 6-8 weeks for eye makeup. I’ve got extra sensitive skin so I went slow.

would it have even been possible to get the eyelid tape look? did you ever get lipo on your neck/chin, if so was that painful?
@Phyrra
@Phyrra Ай бұрын
I think it may have been possible if I had asked initially, but even then, I'm not sure, because the plastic surgeon emphasized several times she was conservative on the amount of skin that she would remove. After seeing a friend's mom who had hers botched, I was extremely grateful that I chose to follow the plastic surgeon's advice. No, I've only had liposuction for fat grafting (in January) and they only took fat from my stomach and sides, nowhere else on my body. Any time my weight fluctuates you can see it in my face, because right now it's pretty puffy. I only did the fat grafting because they said it would make my breasts look more natural and it does. It does look better than the initial surgery.
