I think your paper is not that great. Ans you use very little water. I found them to be nothing like gouache.

I have insomnia and this made me go to sleep. I woke up with this on my phone and I was like oh that’s why I went to sleep last night thank you.

I think the sponge can wet the water colour to make it easier to paint ( do you agree )

Schminke and Holbein both make fantastic gouaches. And I also like their caps better than W&N. I have had a few W&N gouaches dry up because i unknowingly screwed the cap on and it wasn't perfectly aligned. I find it hard to perfectly align their tops. But all three companies make great gouache in my opinion. My fav may be Schminke but it's a pretty tight race.

I just received my go draw tiny palette and tiny sketchbook. I also own a similar tiny palette and sketchbook that I purchased on amazon. There is such a huge difference between them. The go draw is superior in every way and the sketchbook is just beautiful! It’s certainly worth ordering and getting the go draw products! Thanks for the review Leslie!

Thank you for the inspiration! I decided to take 3 very similar colours with me while out today (Payne’s grey, pyrrol red, and gold). I was able to paint two tiny floral pictures with just these 3 colours, and I quite enjoyed the combination. Your daughter chose well!

At 58, my eyesight is not what it used to be, even with glasses I feel like I can’t paint this small. I wish, but I need at least a 5x8 to start. Of course it takes me two days to finish anything lol.
