Hi. I'm not using the Puluz removable, im using Puluz sticky lenses. The removable lens guards seem to make more of a noticeable stitch line, sadly, so I've opted for the sticky lenses. You cannot use the shoe either with removable lenses

It's pretty surreal but also pretty common. ..but Thailand is also a rather interesting mix of Buddhism plus Animism. Maybe I should make a more detailed video on the subject some time!

I live in Thailand and my knowledge is more about Buddhism, the main religion here. Sadly, I don't really know anything about Islam and I don't think there is so many Islamic temples or people here in Thailand. I would love to see one day, though.

Ahh..well, you need a full motorcycle license to be legal. (Thailand scooters are 115cc and up, meaning you need a moto license to be insured and road legal). Rental companies will rent you a bike, but if you have an accident you won't be covered. For that main reason, I don't recommend riding and these routes are not so beginner-friendly, also. I would say, go by car and if you want to learn to ride, take a course (which you can do at several places here). I have a "Riding in Thailand" guide on my website (motogirlthailand.com) with info such as rental shops, insurance, courses available and other aspects related to riding here (works for driving also). Sorry for a late reply. It's been behaving. Thankfully my trick seems to still work. It's currently just entered into Rainy Season here, so I'll see how it performs over this next season. Did you give the RainX a shot? If so, did it work? I imagine it would do the same job as the spray I have..but not sure how close the formulas are.

Oh this is so embarrassing. I did not see your comment. So sorry. Did you work it out already? Thing is, no single support will work when there is major drag, unfortunately. In that case it is always best to add a 2nd clamp support. (And tether your camera). Hope you managed to fix the issue! The Ulanzi is, imo, the strongest cla,p out there currently, but you still need an additional clamp because the unipod can snap at the base.

Hi. So sorry for the late reply. I took a break from social media. The Ulanzi is really strong, however, speed and other factors can put stress on the selfie stick itself (there have been reports of selfie sticks snapping at the base). To counteract that I recommend putting a double claw clamp or similar to bridge the selfie stick and help support it. I'll aim to make a short video about this aspect a little later to help out, because it's a common issue.

Maybe it's just very profitable to make it this way (for insta360). 🤔😒

Hi. If you read my replies to other comments on this, the lenses were installed in the proper way, but there was still fogging at higher altitudes, which is why i needed to find an alternative solution.

For me the better one is the Premium Glass lens protector. But it will still always be better footage with no protector at all. I hope you have a great time with your new camera! Yes, it made the video in Thailand :)

I agree it is much better without the lens protectors. The glass protects are doing a fairly good job. Unfortunately for my kind of riding I need to use the protectors imo. The risk of falling or getting scratched or broken is just too high for me. For normal use I agree, better without. Just wish they had made replaceable lenses. Given that it's not even properly waterproof in many cases, it seems silly to not have replaceable lenses.

@@motogirlthailand what is your kind of riding? I’m curious 🤷‍♂️😅 I use my X3 mostly on my motorcycles. I have two. One is a very fast and powerful Sportsbike which I often ride very fast on the German Autobahn. The other bike is an adventure bike for traveling and off-road riding. On both bikes the X3 does well. That’s why I’m curious about what kind of riding do you do?

@dannytomaske my kind of riding is easy to find on my KZbin, Danny. I place my camera in various angles, including behind the wheel. As a dirt rider you will be aware of how much grit and dirt can fly around in the dirt. When the camera is close to the ground the chances of lens damage is high.

@@motogirlthailand It's easier for you, you don't have negative temperatures, so even installing protection at +30 degrees C will not lead to fog at +15 (probably). And I need to provide -20 degrees, so it is unlikely that the spray will help solve the problem. But thanks for the link. I read that optical sights are filled with air that has been dried at -60 degrees C

@user-kw4lm3nr3h the point of me creating the fog solution video was because I was experiencing fog. In mountains such as Doi Inthanon it can reach temperatures around -5 C in Thailand. Temperatures can fluctuate from humid to dry, wet to dry, dusty and so forth, all in the space of a day's ride. Indeed, I'm not dealing with -20 C, so I do not have direct experience of using the 360 in those much lower temperatures. However, I am originally from Scotland and I do personally know people who have found my tip useful in those lower temperatures. Very sorry if doesn't work for you, though. Not every solution will work for everyone I guess. I wish you good luck in finding a solution :)

If you can get away with no using, then yes, so much better without them! I just worry about damaging due to my riding and activities :(

Agree. It makes zero sense! Especially as many have reported that its not particularly waterproof either. I'd rather buy a waterproof protector and use it only when needed and then use the camera without a lens guard, if removable lenses were available.

I'm still happy with the clamp. I did have one guy report back that he didn't like it. Apparently it was slipping. The way to combat that though, is to add some rubber electrical tape on the area you are clamping to, so that it has grip. Or something similar. For me personally, its still the best of the bunch out there.

Hi. I haven't found them too hot. I wear a mesh jacket as I like to keep my upper body cool, but lower body and feet isn't something I worry about too much, personally. I do believe heat played a bit of a role in breaking down the plastics and rubber, though. Despite storing them in a cool , dark and humid-free area. However, being marketed globally as an Adv boot, I think that manufacturers should take this fact into consideration. Seems only more clement environments are being taken into consideration

The Puluz is unfortunately the best of the bunch. Would be better to have replaceable lenses. For me scratching is less of a concern but there are chances of direct knocks. I.e. falling from my bike and hitting the ground. Using a lens protector will save the lenses from being smashed.
