Thank you so much. I'm glad if it helps. I've had a little microphone issue, so the sound isn't the best..but I'll make sure it works better on my next ride!

I bought the Ullanzi clamp because of you. I´m waiting for it. It should arrive this week

Will be great to know your thoughts on it once it arrives. I am very happy with mine!
@formulaenexpreso67137 ай бұрын
@@motogirlthailand I already have it. I am not very happy because it moves a little maybe because of the vibration of my motorbike or maybe it is the selfie stick which is very heavy. I am using the 2.7 Telesin selfie stick. I am trying to figure out different ways of mounts. I havw tried some of them but I am not confident because it moves and changes its position.

Oh just saw this. Pretty surprised that it's moving! Is it attached to chrome? If so, try wrapping a little electrical tape around the chrome that you want to mount it. Everything will slip on chrome. I have my attached to powder-coated metal, so that's going to help a lot when it comes to grip.

Would be great to know what works for you. I do my best to pass on good info. This clamp is the best I've used personally, so feel sorry that you haven't had a good experience with it. I really hope the electrical tape works or that you find a good solution. If you do, please do update. It would be good to know and also helpful for others too.

Hi.. whats the difference between R099 and R094. Which one do you recommend? And thanks much for your videos. You are very inspiring as im also starting moto riding soon in Thailand :)

Sorry for a late reply. R099 mount is more stable imo. The R094 is a Ram-style mount that some people prefer, but for me it loosens off too easily.

Insta now do a new style motorcycle kit, they were giving them away with purchase of X3 just before Christmas. I have it but not used it yet but the clamp looks a lot better. Couple of questions. Have you seen any warping on your camera body due to the stress of wind resistance of camera on stick ? 2ndly any issues with the insta stick threads shearing ? Both these problems have been on the official forum by a couple of users.

Good that they are now addressing the clamp style and hope it's an improvement. I haven't noticed much warping, but I also don't fully extend with a weak/narrow unipod. If it sways, there will be some warping, so I always aim to reduce that. That's why the thicker unipod and mount connected to the topbox works best imo, as it reduces swaying if using it as a fake drone perspective shot. Lower down it is less of an issue, but again, I never fully extend. I've seen the reports of the unipods snapping and threading issues. I use a mount case to help prevent the threading problems and also, I always use a tether to reduce the risk of the camera getting smashed if the unipod or mount fails in some way. Additionally, I've started experimenting with fishing line. Fishing line could also be used to help brace the mount, because I will stay invisible. It's also a constant learning curve for me too, and I am always trying out new ways to improve my set up. So far, this is what's working for me.
