They want to focus on one major per dlc so they can make it as good as possible. Just compare germany’s to the congo’s. If the US was reworked and had a tree this small people would riot

I hope they are not that stupid to make those focuses 70 days like game ends 1945 and you can do %10 of focuses in 1940 who tf designs this shit bro that is the biggest l of hoi4 when you compare to eu4 you can do missions and play

Especially early start, you need short focuses to defend against Germany or a chance of it

they obv could end up changing it but most of these focuses as of now are 35 and even 14 days. im genuenly really excited that theyre making faster paced focus trees with more intricate mechanics. also you have to remember half of the tree is shared so you wont have to do like a quarter of the tree yourself, which is a nice incentive to go democratic, staying with belgium, and not just go independent every single game like most puppets
