I'm gonna strongly disagree with his answer to the first question that things are better today. He says he can't imagine labor being crushed. Somebody like Debs being arrested. And that's because somebody like Debs. Today has effectively no power or reach due to the social conditioning. He already talked about Ask conditions continue to get worse in organizing labor organizing continues to ramp up once it starts affecting the economy and starts to become a problem in a threat to capital. They will shut it down violently, just like they violently shut down the pro. Palestinian protests. At the elite universities where the children of the ruling class go. At least back then, people knew what was going on and they were not so brain cooked. The only reason we have these freedoms. It's because the social control is that good that they don't need to use violence I wonder if you would still answer this question in the same way today. But even for me that's obvious back then. Especially given what he just explained about the trilateral commission's crisis on democracy and all of that.

I just saw the first hour and I already found nice concepts: Breton woods: regularising the finance for beter trade Socialisation of cost vs privatisation of profits for big technology sectors Mobility of capital vs fix work (and politics) Used as a virtual senate Or Used to threat organised worker to move their jobs abroad (excedentary oversee production) I already have my eyes to much opened. Its like a complotist video but it say truth. Its like dystopia but its the real world. I will take a break and then come laterr to see the remaining. Thank you for keeping this video alive.

I read democracy for the few back in 1974. Great book. Left wing historians seem to have a better grasp of how things work. They are not afraid to explain how power works in the realm of government and business. The court historians who curry favor with the ruling class understand the same facts but prefer to conceal this information and make less informed people believe that the ruling class serves the average citizen. Parenti, Zinn, Chomsky and a handful of others are always reliable. Be careful what you read or hear. Not all spokesmen are reliable.

Excellent book. I remember a review of his book in the NYT or other paper that said people vote for a candidate based on policies other than those that benefit one's own interests. I thought those reviewers were condescending to the great unwashed. And I was right. The pundits who support or ignore Trump's bizarre nonsense are the same. They know Trump is not in the best interest of the nation. But it does not matter. Wealthy candidates who win elections don't work for the interest of the majority. They talk religion and family values. They acquire money at the expense of the poor and doltish majority. The education system is a disaster.

His example of a 200,000 year-old human ancestor having its brain altered by cosmic rays would not work for evolution. For evolution to work you have to have a mutation in the sperm or egg cells genes genetic material because only these are passed on to the next generation.

No . The simple truth is that the Anglo-Saxon Western world divided the Middle East region based on ridiculous biblical stories and narratives. That's why you find countries existence like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, the Zionist entity, etc. The problem here is that this region is not the Middle East to begin with. And it is not the biblical land from the beginning. Rather, it is in another place and another region ? Believe it or not!! These fools made a big mistake here. And their belief that this is the Holy Land is a very ridiculous and wrong belief. They fell short in this matter. They spent huge amounts of money, killed literally millions, and destroyed the fate of entire populations and societies throughout the past century and until now, for the sake of stupid lies and distorted perceptions, nothing more, nothing less. Funny, huh? Their Perceptions do not match reality.

I thought it was pretty amazing I always wondered how "mind" was introduced and what became if it. Ive run through the histiry of science a half dozen times in courses and lectures. This is the firset coherent explanation. What is with the investment in obscuring the Descartes/Newton relationship in "exorcising the machine from the ghost"? Why is it crucial that it be taught wrong?

Old Noam Chomsky is irrelevant, during the Cold War Both Russia and America used to keep "academics" as pets, they thought it lent legitimacy to the form of government they were trying to peddle at the time. Now no one has money or the time of day for people sitting around talking about stuff that is not Economy, Inflation, Interest Rates. The Gravy Train days of keeping "Academics" as pets is over. If Old Chumpsky changes his tune, I may reconsider.

Can someone tell us how many of their own citizens Israel murdered on October 7? (Israeli media seems to think it’s like hundreds). What kind of government does that to its own citizens and leaves its hostages to wither and die in tunnels and refuses to negotiate in good faith for their release? ..and what kind of citizenry accepts it?!?!?!

Ripples from flareups in the Israeli region his us here in Australia. Jewish centres and high schools are noticeably higher security. Those Jews felt vulnerability on Oct 7th a year ago and now they've evened the score multiple times over. It's stopped rocket attacks and repeat of incursions into their State but they're not without military losses as the expense of flattening Gaza and incarcerating the land and people of the West Bank. Not going to uncritically cheer any combatant group in what's going on. Feel for the third parties mixed into this: Druze, Christians, Syrian Kurds, and nonbelligerent foreigners

❤❤❤ . . . A desert with a blue sun and a sky the color of shame, a desert on the horizon covered in blood and a ghost growing from the Red Sea, a deserted chest deserted under a painful cloud, a ghost or a statue, a statue standing in blood, an anvil under the blows of the enemy And the friend, wounded, bloody, broken, silent, with one hand on the handle of the sword that he tried to keep with all his prejudices! . . . And the other hand is always undecided! No, they fight, with what? He does not speak, who with whom? No, he goes where? No return, how? And does not sit down, that: never! He is standing and trying not to fall! He stands at the crossroads of history and goes towards each generation that passes and shouts over his head: Oh, shame on the black inks, escaped from all the scenes of "martyrdom" of history! . . . O absent ones! Absurd, wretched, is there anyone among you who still remembers the face of a man and has eyes that can see and recognize him? Those who have hung death like a necklace of the most beautiful jewels of God around their necks, are immortal and undying, to be witnesses of what has happened in the history of humanity, of the martyrs, of what dies and fades and becomes a victim of the executioner!

Did Chomsky ever in his entire career let anyone know there are 77 branches of semitic speaking people in the Near East region? And the largest population of Semites certainly isn't the Hebrew, it's the Arab, at 500,000,000. So, why then, does the mainstream label anyone being critical of Israeli foreign policy an 'antisemite'? Interesting how they remove the Arab from the conversation and very definition of Semite just as they are removing them from the geography. Does Chomsky ever mention Louis D. Brandeis? I'd bet not once, in his entire career. Louis Brandeis is the primary author of the founding document of Israel, the Balfour Declaration, November 2, 1917. CHomsky will tell you 1948. Brandeis was the first Jewish US supreme court justice and the leader of international Zionism at the same time. Brandeis founded the Palestine Economic Corporation(PEC) and worked with Rothschilds Palestine Jewish COLONIZATION Association (PICA) in establishing the earliest Jewish settlements. Talk about a conflict of interest no?? Look it up for yourself. THIS is the key to understanding the Palestine conflict. Israel has been the aggressor yes, but it's founder is a US supreme court justice, in 1917.
