Garbage 🗑️. Lighting is God awful. Not filming on shadow side. Not at 45° angle on shadow side. Dead space in two shots. Too many shots completely out of focus. Sorry but this is trash.

This video threw me for a loop. The entire video is complimenting the Shure and criticizing the Rode, then ends on "Yeah but I still prefer the Rode" 😂

I think they are great, I need to get balanced cables though, the TRS to RCA have unwanted noise. Since they can be tuned, then I believe that could help as well as the actual sound.

You can't beat the Genelec 8000 series EXCEPT with coaxial speakers like your KEFs. Now Genelec make the best of both worlds with the better coaxial design in the 8001 series. FYI I have Genelec 8020A, 8030A, 8050A monitors running daily since at least 2006 with ZERO issues. Some of them driven into very high SPLs on a regular basis. The only other pro monitors that even come close are the Equator and Bag End coaxials I have also owned. As others have mentioned, please buy the consumer (RCA) Genelecs for consumer use and the professional (XLR) Genelecs for professional use.

Thank you for this information --- especially changing the extension 'name'. I just discovered this file generated by my Akaso EX7000 video camera after shooting some scenes. I use Linux as my OS and it easily recognizes this extension and loads the image with my .jpg display. I changed the extension to .jpg and it loads just perfectly for the image. I also get the same metadata you get, just in a different order. *Thanks for your information, it helps a lot!*

There are camera and lens covers out there. They look very similar to the covers of the old, black and white box cameras that use glass plates where the photographer was underneath. The current covers extend all the way to the end of the lens and camera and you yourself can get underneath that cover to compose your shots and take them. When you see photographers in the rain in a blizzard taking pictures, it's most likely he's a professional working for a company that has a stable of lenses and camera bodies so that when one camera body's gone back to Canon for repair and maintenance, they have another 20 bodies that the photographers can continue to use. I saw a video of a woman who's the director of photography for professional football team in the United States. They have 20 or 30 camera bodies that I can tell on the table and maybe twice that many lens. That way they always have spares. In the event they lends, camera combination takes a dunk takes the hit out on the field. They can continue to do their job while the other cameras are sent back to Cannon for repair or maintenance. Sports illustrated used to keep an EF 1200 mm long lens on hand for their photographers to use in any kind of weather. And of course it goes back to Canon for repair, cleaning and maintenance when necessary. For guys like me and you who don't have that kind of backup, just use your common sense.

better dont call them D,E,F .. when using 4 permanent Drives, i always go with higher Lettters like W,X,Y,Z because if you plug in some externals like sticks or plug your D,E,F in different usb slots, your PC can give them different Letters or write lets say a stick as your "D" or "E", and when you plug your scratch back in it will automaticly get the next free higher drive letter. And this will unlink the premiere pro, davinci scratch disc location, and only cause chaos. I never LINK D,E,F that the Computer always has these 3 to go with, for externals. One thing that i had to learn over the years because i wasted hours to unlink, link again, delete and reinstall plugins vsts etc. Anyway, thanks for the Video! Just one question,.. why going with a HDD Media Cache (Scratch disk)? SSD would be better, its mucch faster write/read speed EDIT: you answered later :P im not a pro either but im pretty sure a SSD will benefit

Stop questioning yourself and constantly telling us who you are not.. your RESULTS show that you know what you are doing. There's tons of pros that overthink the hell out of this and it's not that crucial. Expose properly and all those "pro level" substances goes with it regardless. You did a fantastic job and you knew what you were doing. Your EXPERIENCE shows you don't need an expensive camera to achieve results and this is living proof that the "consumer camera" outshoots an actual cinema camera. You're experienced and I'm positive you get paid for your work.. you're a professional on another level. Those "pros" you talked to towards the end of he vid sounds to me they have absolutely no idea what they are even talking about, just sounding smart. Either it does or it don't there's no in-between. Keep doing you man, I love this!
