I haven't gotten the remaster game and i'm glad i didn't Bugs, glitches are everywhere in the game but the worst for me is ( yeah yeah, it's not deep or not that serious but i don't give a shit ) That the cloth physics are still the freaking same since 2010 and it's still pissing me off like what the hell is the damn point of a remaster if your not gonna fix this annoying long running bug in the console version at all man They dropped the ball hard dude

Something interesting you probably didn’t know is that NFS MW (2012) originally was going to be a direct sequel to most wanted (05) but due to rushed development many aspects of the game were cut including an actual story, M3-GTR(later added as dlc), and a different heat system that had cooldown spots in alleys to lose pursuits, weapons were thought to be a feature cut from the game but if you look at the beta or alpha you can see what this game could have been.

I loved NSFU & NSFU2...my then girlfriend (and now wife) used to play together right after we first moved in together. We spent more time designing the car wraps than anything else, and at the end had a whole collection of really cool designs. I want to say that playing it was why we ended up getting a GTI later. I'm an NSF fan from way back too, I bought a PlayStation to play NSF III HP because I loved NSF II on pc, but my crappy laptop at the time couldn't play it.

This game showed downfall of companies for me from EA being a scummy as they are, All they had to do was combine underground 2 with most wanted and they would have sold so many but they did not evolve the game to where it should have gone they got greedy and stupid and now look where we are instead of them being praised for the good company they were and used to be they are now praised for being the worst company in existence and you guys still buy their stuff don't vote with your wallet that's the only thing they understand

there were only two NFS games that I was able to finish... hot pursuit 2 and underground 2... outrun was easily doable when you started circling on the highway..

crash related stuff is on your end - I play this game every year... its kinda my tradition now, and I can count on one hand number of crashes I had with it

Due to how 3d rendering works. Widescreen mods are most of the time shockingly easy: Edit the game files to allow widescreen resolutions. Example I know for a fact that this was a possible solution for Vampire the masquerade Bloodlines. Because I did that there. I did something similar a bunch of times. But many times it was even easier then there. Like sometimes literally just editing a text file with allowed resolution settings.

I never played this game back in the day, but I did play Burnout 3 (which had the Underground 2 demo on it) and the Pixar Cars-games. To me, underground 2 always looked like the best parts of Burnout 3 and Cars: Race-o-rama. Might try to get my hands on the PS2 version some day, who knows

Finished nfsu2 4 times in a row, when most wanted came out ut looked so fukin bad and was so damn borring that I did not manage to finish it. Nah man, just like the fact that forza horizon murdered need for speed is the fact that police ruins a good RACING game

For me, it was always the best one, and I even know the reason. It's the handling model. NFSU2 driving just...feels right. It's not a sim, but then again, neither is Most Wanted, but still that felt like you were driving in molasses when you tried to steer...at least for me.

I see a lot of people complain about rubber banding and how you mentioned the challenge races against other cars on the streets but I've never encountered issues like that. NFSMW, I distinctly remember situations on the PS2, Xbox 360 and PC versions where my car was so much faster than the AI, that I was able to stop my car and wait for them to travel the 2,000+ meters to catch up to me because I would absolutely lap the shit out of them. In Underground 2, I remember having fun with those challenge cars on the streets because I was challenge them, floor it and watch them fall behind so fast, I would beat them in less than 30 seconds. So hearing about how those features were "broken" blows my mind because it's never been a problem for me outside of Burnout 2-3.

Loved both underground 1 and 2 and those are the best NFS games for me! But get your facts straight. PS2 was the weakest console but it was sold the best! Gamecube had slightly better specs and XBOX had the best specs. so PS2 was not the most powerfull console around that time (like you said at 3:20) ! Ohw I didn't had any problems or glitches on my Gamecube... so I'm still gladd the Gamecube was my go to console in that time! anyway goede video, want aan je accent te horen ben je Nederlands ;)

This was my childhood. Still my favorite NFS game to this day. I wish video game studios would focus more on story/career mode nowadays. Great memories. Ironically I was never able to complete it, as the game simply stopped giving me new events even though I hadn't unlocked the whole map. It's also interesting you mention people wanting to fast travel: I loved driving everywhere as fast as I could, and it gave me an understanding of the streets to succeed in the events.

About the star rating, I always hated it, but the simple solution to that is to have a second car that you specifically just tune up to 10 stars to progress and keep your first choice car to actual driving, and you can keep that as simple as you like. I always did that.

While i love the introduction of muscle cars and autosculpt in Carbon, and Most Wanted being the overall best NFS, i just love this one far more and, in my opinion, still think this is the best one: Bayview setting is great, cars are awesome, even the SUVs, music still slaps, not having cop chases is not a big deal honestly, has drift and Dyno tuning, secret races and outruns, cut and beta content, mods... And its a straight upgrade from Underground, which i also love for some reasons i already mentioned, but it was pretty much better explained in video. Godspeed! Edit: im sorry to hear you had problems with playing it. I still own the copy for PC wayback since 2008 and it works perfectly
