If only it wasn’t jarringly interrupted by ads. That woke me back up. Very counterproductive. 😢

We still haven’t gone past the moon. I think we need a more imaginative approach to travel such vast distances. With all the empty talk we are still using fossil fuels for our rockets. We are still dreaming of science fiction and living in caves

It’s fun to watch these videos, but when you start hearing them, talk about generation ships rotating, and that those rings would be 100 yards across you’re thinking to yourself how little thought they’ve put into it. A generation ship would need to be kilometers across because you would need an entire civilization living within the ship. Thousands of people and you could hardly do that if the ship was only a couple hundred meters across. Also, 100 m would leave everyone extremely nauseous because that’s too tight a circle for the human body to maintain continuously without severe nausea. A generation ship that spins would need to be more like an O’Nell cylinder where the exterior is many many floors deep. Then you would have some variation of gravity on the different levels as well as places through the center that would be 0G which would be helpful for many things like manufacturing and healthcare. But it would be way bigger than 100 yards.

Enjoying the narration and visuals-especially around 28:58, where everything really clicks. 🖖 Big thanks for the hard work putting this together! But I have to ask, could we push these ideas even further? What’s everyone else think?

"The present moment" is just an idea. The past is a concept. The future is a simulation. None have any inherent reality. Time is a conceptual reference system we use to make a consistent world in which to move and interact. So, time is there - conceptually. We need this concept to function. But it has no inherent reality.

Theories are fun but I’ve noticed a lot of famous people presenting theories without making it clear where measured facts stop and theories begin. A lot of them so desperate to explain the unexplainable they believe their theories are fact for self satisfaction. A small handful it’s all about fame and fortune becoming famous presenting answers they don’t have to people like us who wish we could know. I personally think space is cool because I believe our technology could never stop advancing and we’d know more and more but there would never be an end. Long after I’m gone my descendants will be having similar questions beyond humans current knowledge. For people seeking the meaning of life I don’t think you’ll ever find it in space. Well always be trying to understand more and more about the universe that’ll be never ending

Yes. Bill Gates, Elon Muscovite, et al are abusive eugenicists who all get a pass because they are wealthy. The abusers whether or not they are powerful need to be shut down, prosecuted and depowered. We must not ever destroy people with unwarranted fears or suspicions. Short take-be better. Take care of each other and yourself.

Okay, Here Goes... There can be no physical "time" travel because there is quite simply no "when" else to go! Most of us who are now being human remain fully oblivious to a most fundamental truth. Indeed, it is THE most fundamental of truths. There is no such thing as separate. All times are now.
