OMGGG I STUDIED ABROAD IN PRAGUE !!! here are some of my recs: - walking around in žižkov! it's a really cool neighborhood and there's so much interesting architecture and design there - golden egg: also located in žižkov, it is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in prague. it's a breakfast-y place with a cute outdoor area and has such delicious food and drinks. their breakfast sandwiches are so good and i highly recommend trying their passion fruit lemonade! it's been 2 years and i still think about her all the time <33 - la bohème café: everything about this place is so beautiful! literally food drink and interior design - vzorkovna (dog bar): one of the coolest bars in the city, it has a bunch of small rooms and small bars within it, has live music every night and a dj on the weekends. it's also super affordable since you pay (cash only though, make sure to get czk) at the front for a card that you use to pay for drinks and other stuff while you're inside - letna park: beautiful outdoor park with gorgeous views and peacocks! - dox museum: an incredibly unique modern art museum! like so fucking cool

Saint George's English Bookstore in Berlin! Only English books for a second hand price, in a cute neighborhood with nice cafes and easy access to public transport. Address: Wörther Str. 27, 10405 Berlin, Germany - went there twice, would go again just to browse around

A capsule wardrobe will save you, especially when you're doing so much traveling and want packing room for books you bring back. Also, the London Review bookshop an Daunt Books are a must. You also have to see a performance of Cabaret at the Kit Kat club if you can afford it. The high up cheap seats are honestly the best ones, if you love theater it will change you

in Berlin, there's a restuarant called The Future is up to You (near Volkspark am Weinberg) that I ate at over two years ago that i still think about frequently, fondly. that whole neighborhood was so young and energetic

My favorite restaurant in Rome was one one street over from the Vatican Museums, it was called something Ristorante dei Musei, it was by far the most traditional restaurant I ate at, and it was so much cheaper than any other with great food!

there's definitely a second puberty around 27/30, me and my friends all experienced it, our hips seemed to expand (probably not the right word lol, i'm french) and we had to size up. when we realized it we all traded clothes it was so fun !

I've been to Spain 4 times and I must say - skip Barcelona if you can (Madrid, too, as I've had nothing but bad experiences in these two cities and they despise tourists) and go to San Sebastian, Grenada, or Sevilla.
@cherryblossombaby9616 сағат бұрын
I live in Europe and I recently saw on my local news something about people in some tourist hotspot cities in Spain having large protests against tourism and the protesters were yelling at tourists to go back home and stuff and being kind of aggressive/hostile

LA apparel fits tiny !! i had to go up 2 sizes in their bottoms and they still weren’t flattering - I would recommend just getting tops / accessories etc from them because the bottoms are almost impossible to find in a flattering style

It's frustrating that your apartment didn't bother to ensure the move-in process was smooth by taking care of the painting. Can't wait until you return from Europe so we can get back to Winnipeg's cozy vlogs.

DONT beat yourself up over your clothes, even as a plus size person manufactures are all over the place with sizes. Please don't pay attention to the sizes in the EU. Go to charity shop and secondhand shops on your travels. Look at the quality of material not necessarily the "brand". Be safe, much love.

Pack variable layer's because you will be experiencing different weather situations. London can get wet and chilly, so pack an umbrella and a packable rain jacket to throw over a sweater or blazer. The apartment is looking good and the sofa is great. Enjoy your adventures and I'm looking forward to tagging along. :)) Hey, who's watching Jonni?

I really hope that white people consider how traumatic or racist a book could be for a black or person of color before they recommend them. I have taken two book recommendations from you and both time, there were instances where black people were dehumanized so hard, I was like how do I get through this. Funny thing was that you were raving about the books and their themes like you just didn’t see color. I know white people just don’t see race in so many things which is why racism still goes unchecked but we see race because we literally have no choice so maybe consider this?
