hey, i don't know if you check comments on these videos anymore, but i wanted to thank you for making this and all your other dmc 5 videos. i recently got good enough at the game (thanks to your guides and lots and lots of practice!!) and was able to clear bloody palace on vergil, dante (w/ cheese), nero, and then dante again (w/o cheese). this guide helped me a lot getting through this guy as nero, which was easily the fight i was the most stressed about. fuck that tentacle. it made me start final urizen with just over one bar of health and my heart was racing. but now nero's the one with POWER.

This is some airplane controls kinda control schemes. The most odd control scheme I have is with V, where I have a similar setup to you in some ways, but everything else is different. Bird on R2 & Cat on L2 (for extra fast spamming), book on circle, and auto-attack on square, but I have lock-on on R1, DT for all characters on L1, and for V I have the cane on triangle. Though, Dante is still on defaults for me. I'd have to unlearn a lot of muscle memory from DMC3 & 4 to figure out any non-default control scheme for him.

i thought devil breakers are not affected by devil trigger? but seems like HS can break that annoying crystal 4x as fast with dt on?

How do you get that dash, I've been noticing it's the startup for Dante's signature combo but the only thing I found was that you need to complete the story on DMD with Nero/Dante/V.
