I recently bought an ASUS Vivobook 16 X1605VA-MB696 laptop. After a full charge, it runs on battery for a very short time. About 3 hours before it runs out. I followed all the recommendations in this video. How long should this laptop run on battery? (battery test, 3 hours of operation until completely discharged: - screen brightness 50%, - Wi-Fi on, - using a browser to watch KZbin)

ASUS ROG Strix G17 G713QM-ES94 - Bought in 2021. Barely used it until about a year ago. Now, it's freezing indefinitely on startup at the logo. I've reset the BIOS, I replaced the SSDs, installed fresh copy of Windows on the fresh SSD, and it's still freezing. It's out of warranty. If this is such a common and known issue specific to ASUS laptops, am I really expected to have to pay to have the issue fixed by an ASUS service center? What else can I do to fix this?

the irony overlooked by Asus, is that their own phones don't connect to a closer node. I have an Asus Router with 4 Zenwifi 4 nodes, my old Samsung S22 did, the wifes S21 does, but my Asus Zenfone 10 does not. I could be connected to my bedroom node, then go to my spa 30m away, past 2 other nodes and it will stay connected to my bedroom node, meaning I have to, several times a day, I have to restart wifi on my phone. I am now at the point I am going to change from Asus Zenfone after only 8 months, it really is that annoying, and Asus support is absolutely useless, I honestly don't think they know their own products.

It doesn't let me leave Uefi, at all. Im not even turning it on. It just auto turns on, and always says "save and reset" when i want to leave it. Why can't i leave Uefi?

I truly want to say thank you very much for your help holding down the power button for 40 seconds worked and started my PC right up. Compared to others on this KZbin channel saying to hold it for 10 to 15, seconds didn’t seem to be long enough. And that’s because I tried every trick just about on these videos and yours happened to be the one that worked for me. I appreciate your videos, and thank you again so much! That was a game changer! I was starting to think I might have to replace my laptop. Hopefully this trick may help someone else as it did myself.

Asus x542ur models have a chronic power problem. The laptop shuts itself off when it's on and after a year it won't work without a power cable. I regret it.

The problem I'm having now: When I connect the power cable the power light flashes and there is no picture on the screen, it stays on black screen all the time. About 1 year ago I installed evo 870 sata ssd and the system was very fast, the responses and iops values were good, but every 2 months Windows 11 OS crashes and won't boot, it's like a joke. I'm a Computer Science graduate but this is the first time I've encountered such errors in my life. Thanks Asus you are giving me experience :)

I bought the ASUS ROG Strix G16(2023) and I installed a new SSD and selected Cloud Recovery through the BIOS. After it downloaded what it needed, it rebooted itself and now all I see is a black screen and the mouse pointer. I was starting to wonder if something went wrong but if it might take 1 to 3 hours I guess this is normal.

when i did the steps, it put me to myASUS WinRE, so i tried to factory reset it but after a while it put me back on the same myASUS WinRE page, what can i do because my laptop was working fine just the day before

I decided to do a factory reset of my laptop. After the reset, during the initial setup where I need to connect to Wi-Fi, select the system language and so on, I started getting errors ooberegion/ oobelanguage / oobekeybord / oobeeula and so on. I just bought the Asus DSL AX82U AX5400 Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 Modem Router and spent ALL DAY trying to get this thing working. Documentation is pathetic and pretty much non existent!! Tried EVERYTHING and it's a no go. Connected it exactly how the previous router was connected but all I get is "the network cable is unplugged". Also on my Asus ROG GT AX11000 router under the WAN settings there is provision to enter your ISP login name and password. There is NO OPTION for this in the Asus DSL AX82U AX5400 router, so how the hell is it supposed to connect to your ISP without those credentials ????????????????????????????????????????????????
