To be fair the first episode of Rise is one of the weakest of the series, but it’s not everyone’s cup of tea which is understandable

Rise is my favorite and yeah I am Neurodivergent (a form of Autism) i'm 100% not gay, i'm a straight guy in my late 20s and it was not my first, 2003 was my first (though I barely watched it) Rise just has the best comedy and story imo (+ it dares to be different)

for the Ninja category and Rise I like to give a mention to Todd near the series finale where he creates gardening tools for the turtles, as Todd was correct historically accurate ninjas used mainly farming tools as weapons (give Which Ninja a watch, it's an amazing source for Ninja history)

You nailed it with rise I’m queer, neurodivergent, an animation student, and it was my first tmnt series! (Though as far as I’m concerned the cass apocalyptic series is seasons 3 and 4, but I can and will complain and the dreadful state of canceling g good shows for corporate greed in the animation industry)

Your description of Rise fans is pretty lame. There are fans like that for all TMNT. Sure, it may be higher for Rise, but many Rise fans do not fit that category. Many Rise fans aren't gay and don't have whatever mental condition you mentioned.

Neurodivergent is an umbrella term most commonly associated with autism and ADHD, but encompasses many other conditions such as OCD. These videos are not meant to be taken super seriously and are generalizations based on my interactions with fans of various TMNT iterations - nearly every Rise fan I’ve ever interacted with is queer and/or neurodivergent. Additionally, the art/animation aspect is specific to Rise because the animation in 1987/2003/2012 is fine, but Rise’s animation is on another level of gorgeous. Obviously none of these descriptions are exclusive to an iteration (I’m queer & neurodivergent and my favorite iteration isn’t Rise, it’s 1987). But my reasons for liking certain iterations specifically are vastly different, and those reasons are what I specifically highlighted

I am the type of person who makes fan theories that could be canon to help with the glaring issues of TMNT 2012. For example: I don't think Leo and Karai are biologically related. I REALLY wish the writers thought it out more, but I don't believe they are supposed to actually be siblings. I don't remember the show saying the turtles mutated from Splinter, either. The turtles could have mutated from the pet store owner or something. Karai is biologically Splinter's daughter, the Turtles might be biologically related to Splinter, but they may not be. Also, we don't know how mutagen really works. The turtles may have human DNA, but possibly nothing that would make them come up as being related to Splinter on a DNA test. Also, Karai is now a snake mutant. Who knows how much of Splinter's DNA she has now

I don't think the TMNT 2007 movie's story is bad, I actually think the whole Max Winter's being a immortal being due to a curse he put upon himself 3,000 years ago and that he revives his turned to stone brotherhood was a really cool idea. The characters were really likable to and the animation is awesome. On top of that, there are 5 prequel comics to the movie.

i love tmnt 2012 and 2018 but i probably like tmnt 2018 more. but i grew up with 2012 so it has a special place in my heart. my dads been a tmnt fan since he was little too. so it was a shocker when it just said “your gay and neurodivergent” 💀💀

If by "Legacy" you mean rise of the TMNT or mutant mayhem, then it is really easy to live up to that. just make a good show again. 2003, 2012, we know it is possible. not all turtles stuff is bad, quite the opposite. its just the recent releases.

Next Mutation was so bad it was good, and is the only version that actually makes me laugh out loud. It’s honestly a good time, maybe a little cringy at times, but I love it

2012 was part of my childhood with other shows, definitely my favorite, yes it has many problems but I still binge this show whenever my life starts to feel like it’s crumbling
