I like how pure mills is, he ended Doe's life in a jiff. If he was was not naive, he wouldn't become wrath and would've let Doe tortured.

At 3:20, when you said Nathan Algren fought on the Samurai's side for a noble cause, I knew you would compare him to Jake Sully😂. That's what History Buffs did as well.

If you know how to embrace loneliness its easy to learn to not be lonely. I haven't had friends for 3 years, divorced for 6 and happier than ever being alone

I was coming down off meth, the first time I seen this film. The movie is already a visceral look at life. Then to be up for five days and watch this for the first time. It made me reevaluate everything for the next 24.

I think the scene that best shows that this movie isn't about war is the scene where the soldiers get interviewed by the journalist that is in Vietnam with them. Some of the soldiers say more introspective thoughts and philosophize rather than saying anything about the war at all. Interesting that you didn't feature that scene, I admit it's a bit boring though.

The only murder we see is when Mills kills Doe. There are only three murders that involve blood, and we never see the prostitute's bloody body. We don't see anything of Doe's murdering Mills's wife except a cardboard box. We don't see violence; we see the repercussions of violence. But the film is so effective at evoking images in our minds that we see violence where there is none. I love how Fincher directed this film.

That music 😮is epic!!! Whenever you hear Hans Zimmer masterpiece, it takes you back to the emotions of amazement, awe and nostalgia of experiencing the film for the first time. One of the greatest works of art ever put to film 🎥. The General that became a Slave 🥺 The Slave that became a Gladiator 😲 The Gladiator that defied a Emperor 😤

This discredits the screenwriter who actually wrote and created the sequel. Yes Dennis directed it and deserves praise. But he was only given the script once it was done. We need to give screenwriters more credit because we often praise the director for creating the entire film when that’s not the case

The 2018 movie and its sequels echo your idea that the kills are simply random and he stalked Laurie and her friends simply because she dropped a key off at the house he once lived in.

If you think about it, Michael Myers’ body responds to wounds the same way that ours would in real life. His kills in the movies are not medically accurate, but the way his body responds to wounds certainly is because our body will fight to keep us alive. It’s possible that the reason he is able to get back up so often is because he has low pain tolerance and adrenaline allows him to get back up after being beaten up by the mob in Halloween Kills. It’s not really evil or supernatural keeping him alive, but basically willpower.

Revenge isn't the main theme of the film. Maximus's cause is much greater. The analysis is very superficial.

Can everyone imagine if jews where loved and never hated. There only one reason Hitler never liked jews i will explain when Hitler was a young student one day in his school his teacher asked a question no one answered so Hitler stood up in class and said the answer his teacher started to laugh at hin and the class room as well adof look straight at his teacher and said one day you and all jews will be at my feet. This is what triggered hate it's in all of us to destroy each other People need to change people need to understand life in a better loving way their's no reason for this in life. But its like my dear father use to say who's going to fix the world life is to short to waste your time being stupid and hateing people and life itself

Hate is not taught its in every person. It's always triggered by someone that thinks he or she is better than someone else. Hate has been around for hundreds of hundreds of years. Remember this a good person becomes a monster because of someone else.

The army only landed later to reinforce the Marines. I don't believe their landing was opposed either. The initial Marine landings were not much opposed either. I think the movie is pretty accurate in that regard, although I could be wrong. Nothing to do with Okinawa

The irony of Buddy wanting to be super ignoring the fact that he has super-intellect compared to normal people. He himself is the very thing that he proclaims to hate and is at war with but he is to blind by the rejection of his childhood idol to see that. He should be aware that he has talents and encourage others to realize their own yet he wants to create a world where that isn't possible.
