I guess Gogle don't want you to make duplicates as sharing can negate this. However for making templates and duplicating whole folder structures etc there is a use case to duplicate

You forgot to mention how to select your default image as the cover for the video. My video must’ve auto selected an image that I do not want to show as the cover for the video, I’d like to select a different image

I have this issue where the camera won't power on when I attach the lens. It only powers on when I remove the lens. How can I fix this? I made sure to line up the squares and moved it clockwise until I heard a click.

i am trying to do one project. just one. and I cannot. write how i want and it's annoying. it makes me disengage with anything and use the "less is more" theory. so that's how i'm doing this one. just have my timing on point with random editing with words but i can't get past this issue that says i cannot do anything to export to file until iMovie completes certain tasks but doesn't say what tasks these are. it's very annoying.

Sorry to those who have been using iMovie for years, But I'm agreeing with you Nate! After watching this, I can say this software is not worth using it even for the first time. I only use 2 software programs; the basic and discontinued, yet still easy to use Windows Movie Maker, and the advanced, complex Sony Vegas Pro 17

IMovies is very user unfriendly and requires a massive how to use it campaign I have made four movies on it and found many rabbit holes and the secret handshakes it is so frustrating that I am compelled to make these comments PS just wait till you get to Android file transfer

My photo file that is supposed to go below my greenscreen file will not stay underneath, it keeps popping back above the greenscreen video file. Using 2015 iMac with Monterey. Can't seem to get it to work. Any ideas why the file won't stay below the greenscreen video file?

for gods sake someone please answer the glaring piece missing from every one of these videos. After clipping the video, how do you then save the separate clips together again as the new completed project. Please do not say that iMovie automatically saves the work as you, because it does not!!!! Not one video of about 20 I have watched says what to do with the multiple remaining clips after clipping out the dead spots.

Is it possible to click on PHOTOS and drag an entire folder into the media storage area? I seem to only be able to drag photos into the timeline, not the media storage area.

I agree so much with the text issue! Question for you, Why when I SAVE it to file, I know it turns it to a Mp4 but the first frame is black? (but not on all the movies I have done) Do you know what I mean if so how do i fix that? Maybe that is not the right way to export and put it up onto like Instagram or other platform?
