I show how to change the engine oil and filter on a 2015 Toyota Rav4, and I recommend getting a new upgraded metal filter housing before you attempt this job

one thing to note: when you screw the housing back onto engine, the filter base will NOT seat flush against the surface. there will be a 2-3mm gap.

There is nothing wrong with the plastic housing as long as (1) you do your own oil changes (2) you don't over torque the oil filter cap (3) you don't over torque the drainbolt on the oil filter cap (4) you use the proper tools [oil filter cap wrench & torque wrench - if you need it to get it right]. I like the way you change the o-rings without the need of a tool. You didn't pull the whole housing off. The housing assembly has two major components, the housing base attached to the engine block and the oil filter housing cap simply called the oil filter cap, which you remove and insert a new filter element into (element = the cartridge). I'm not understanding why you're not using the specified 0W-20 oil? I'm giving you a like/thumbs up --- on two conditions, 1. If you change my oil you use my Motivx wrench and 2. You use the 0W-20 that I'll provide. Motivx oil filter wrench can be found at motivxtools.com

In your video, you changed oil filter first, followed by draining oil by unscrewing the oil plug. Is that right order? Or it doesn’t matter?

I never drain the oil filter, you get oil on your hands anyways. 1 less thing to do

You didn't not change your oil right there is a small o ring that needs replaced as well
