I’ve realize that ever since I was 18 that entertainment has slowly becoming bad. No it does nothing with the 9/11 atrscks in the USA. That TV got so bad during the Streamkng boom around 10 years ago. Cable TV had to compete yet lost to streamkng. Streamkng slowly made too many cuts aroubd corners, cancelling shows, and removing their best material as time went on, they increased the prices, and added too many commercials.

Was a nice touch using creep at the end. Especially after his big spiel on the song and how white people connect with it.

My favorite part about these references that separates them from a lot of similar homages is the detail and effort put into making these shots and graphics as accurate as possible for a gag. Even super small things like the texture of the typography in the My Dinner With Andre and Hackers bits or the entirety of stuff like the Daredevil and Goldeneye 64 bits. I just love that Matt and Jay's comedy extends to the visual craft as well.

Season 1: Some edgelord who read Nietzsche and thinks he's deep spouts off a bunch of empty pessimism that sounds fancy but is only interesting because we know his character realizes he's been full of shit by the seasons end Season 3: Shit actual cops talk about while oblivious to their own role in a (for each of them, intimate) colonial context

Errrm, then explain why Koala man sucks ASS, dude. It's like season 30 of family guy right off the bat first episode.

I never knew this comic earlier in life. I just saw this video and learned about him for hte first time. I feel like I missed out on 1 of the greatest comics to ever live. His views are amazing and how he engaged with his jokes and how he tried to make change. This was a great video thanks for opening me up to an amazing new comic to me but sad I missed him during his actual time.

This video is horrifying to me. People actually talking about the "philosophy" of comedians!! This civilization is truly doomed. Their jokers are their philosophers now. Instead listening to the clown for laughter and a timeout of daily troubles, they listen to them looking for wisdom and knowledge delivered in a funny way. Wow

This is my favorite TV show. It is so peak absurd.

Patrice is my number 1 cause he had a philosophical point of view. Truthful to the bone with a comedy effect. Man was pure genius.

Patrice O'Neal said a joke about a short lady who got mad if you don't let her clean your hotel room, and thats what my mother do, housekeeping, as soon as she heard the joke she cried laughing. And to this day is our favorite joke. People nowadays are similar to wet paper. P. O'Neal was and will always be one of the greats.

Stand-up comedy is such a wild world. I've never felt so much rubber-banding emotionally in any other artform. I think it is humanity at its deepest most vulnerable core. And also at its most enlightened and refreshing. It's so hard to explain, but I respect anyone who gives it a shot. Succeed or fail.

This was brilliant. I miss Patrice O'Neal. I wonder how his jokes and viewpoints would have been perceived and if he may have seen things differently in 2024. R.i.p. A huge talent for the world to have lost.

They need to get back to the OG style of the series. Get a proper replacement for Lahey that can provide a similar but different dynamic. JROC leaving was arguably the biggest blow to the show for me and I have no clue how they could replace him.
