My Budgies love hard boiled eggs so i chopped up some Lettuce Carrots and Bell Pepper and sprinkled egg all over them and they just love it now they watch me to seer if im going to make them more the next day when i open the fridge they go crazy thinking they are going to eat . lol love it

Hi. I've had a parakeet for 2 yrs. He's very vocal he does his happy birdy noises. We recently gave him a friend, and they both are OK being in the same cage after one week of having a divider. The older bird is so happy with its new friend. The younger bird is about 3 or 4 months, according to the pet store. It is very still. It eats and lets the other parakeet groom it and stuff. Is it normal for young parakeets to be so still and not sing or make much noise? I'm so used to the other parakeet making so much noise and playing with its toys.The new bird only plays with the new toy added for her, as if she knew it's hers. I think it's a girl because it has a pale light blue cere. ( the store said it's a rare parakeet) it's sort of a pastel rainbow parakeet.

I love how every cage he showed with budgies in it were way too small for the poor things, and had to toys for enrichment. 5 birds in that cage? Yeah no, get a bigger cage, your birds are cramped.

My old budgie died yesterday 🙃😕 after 6! MONTHS

My budgie's cere is purple. I don't know if it has to do with him having a pale yellow head, and teal body. (He also had white flight feathers and tail feathers.) Plus anything on a budgie that should be black is very light grey. He's a very cute budgie who started out teal and white, but as he got older, he's 6 years old, his white feathers on his head and parts of his wings turned yellowish.
