It does not matter if you had ice or freeze the filter, on a very hot day like here in Cambodia the ice will melt in just 30 mins and the filter is completely dried. I don't use mine as an air cooler because it does not work for me it's too hot here, I use it as an air freshener instead lol my room smells good though.

I think you put the filter in upside down. I was just gifted one of these and was trying to figure out how/why it works as my filter kept drying out....like you I had it upside down at first. The unit appears to have a valve that meters a water drip into the bottom pan, from which the filters wick water up. You put the filter lid down into the bottom tray, blocking the filters from picking up any water. Note that the filter basket has wedge shaped "bars" inside it...make sure the Pointy ends of the wedge is facing the fan for best airflow. I also found it helpful to preload the bottom tray with water...also a good place place some ice cubes. Cheers! :)

Mine is new but the fan won't turn?? Of course it's fully charged and I've soaked the filter etc etc. no fan??

Cool concept. Found ways to make it run cooler. Don’t do water at all just ice and Pre soak the filter and freeze with the top side facing down so any water that drips won’t cause little ice cicles. The only bad thing about this I’m on my third in one month the port that you plug the usb in breaks lose and weird when I use the chord and it’ll stop working and then switch to a different power chord for my cell phone and it’ll work and then not and it won’t work if I plug in the same chord i was currently working I have to switch the chord makes zero sense because that’s some weird thing but it’s happened and I have to switch chords then all of sudden bang it works. Again the worse thing the port to plug in the power chord.

a chord is played by an instrument guitar etc a power CORD is what you are speaking of big diff.

Let me tell you why people think these are a scam They are great to sit two to three feet away from them and they are nice They cool you off The problem with a lot of the ads is that they say this kid came up with this device because his friends in high school they were melting in the heat and in 15 or 20 minutes He came up with a device that dropped the temperature from 96 to 68° in 15 minutes Now you know damn well these little coolers can't do that or they say okay in your house they'll cool down the heat in your house 88° down to 68° in 15 minutes I don't care if it's an hour It ain't happening that's why people say these are scams and their phony but sit two or three feet away from them they're great for One Person!

If i remember correctly. The Arctic Air product was advertised on television to cool down an entire room, and some. So for what you've shown in two of your videos regarding the two similar products, i consider both products an absolute fail! Nothing short of marketing gimmick to draw people, and once delivered then tried out, tricked because how the product was advertised, didn't live ☝ to how it was promised/ guaranteed to work. I'm calling those scams 🐎💩!
