FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF BALI, INDONESIA (Southern coast of Uluwatu)

We are in Uluwatu, in Southern Bali! Known for its rugged coastlines, surfing and the famous Uluwatu temple. There is so much culture to be found here. We experienced the sacred khecak dance, saw some gorgeous statues all around Bali and soaked up some vitamin-D on the beaches. The amount of creativity we saw in Bali is incredible, so many woodworkers, stone sculptures, hand-made jewelry and delicious food. Next week, we will explore more of Bali, including all of the picturesque rice terraces that are so characteristic of Bali. Would you ever visit Bali?? Let us know!

There are many beautiful beaches in eastern part of Indonesia than in Bali. If you like beaches, diving and snorkeling you should go to Komodo National Park in Flores ( Labuan Bajo). It just one hour flight from Bali.

Suluban Beach was the first one in this video. That was my favorite beach when I visited Bali. Close by is Uluwatu Temple which is majestically perching over the cliffs to the ocean. Quite an amazing place. I also recommend taking a boat ride to Nusa Penida for break taking vantage points and of course Ubud is a romantic jungle getaway you can’t miss. Bali is my favorite place on earth!

Take a boat from Sanur to Nusa Penida. After visiting Nusa Penida, take another boat to Gili Islnds.

I went to Bali in 2019 :D I loved Ubud !! also highly recommend Nusa Penida and the Gili Islands - they were amazing ! I remember seeing tours to the Komodo Islands from Gili T which I want to do next time :D (also Uluwatu is on my list for next time lol) Canggu/Seminyak area is great for surf and party vibe (although maybe not so much the party vibe now? lol) Also highly recommend going in the other direction to the next big island/province over - Java - and going to Yogyakarta, Mount Bromo and ijen etc. theres also a beautiful island you can get to from Semarang thats quiet and not touristy but i'm forgetting the name atm

You can go to Amed, Kintamani, Tanah Lot, Ubud and Lovina. If you have time you can go to Flores Island...in Labuan Bajo is great diving and live aboard boats. Then you can road trip to Maumere Sikka and do more diving and trekking, stop in kelimutu
