Dude, what a great idea for the bow hanger! I have the exact same problem you talked about. I’m going to try a quiver mounted loop like you show. Thanks for that tip. And your videos are great. Keep at it👍

Thanks man! That almost cost me a deer last year so the wheels had to start turning 😆 Let me know how it works out for you! Appreciate the kind words!

Great video Shan, always interesting to see how others manage the gear & climbs. The fanny pack pouch is making a comeback, Joe Rogan loves the fanny pack. A few things I see is the headlamp, I like a red light its harder to see with however it doesn't alert deer by giving you away as easily as a white light. After a full season using the Tethrd Mantis, it's still a novelty to me, and I enjoy the option, but does not replace (in my opinion) the Lone Wolf hand climber, or modified sit & climb when the woods you hunt have an abundance of applicable tree's like where I hunt. I use the climber whenever I can or when I go in to a new area & hunt. I like your system, and hunting with that bow requires more skill. I find the saddle requires more movement, and thus more cover, thicker trunked tree's and higher climbs when hunting in pressured areas. When I use the saddle option, it's now mostly in places I already have pre-set with screw in steps. Anyway, I don't want to seem anti-saddle & get myself in trouble with "the movement" lol. Enjoyable video, looking forward to more from you, it's an exciting time of year.- Andy

Thanks for watching! Always appreciate your input! That light has a high and low red beam and is also rechargeable via a USB cord, pretty slick. A lot of times I sit in the dark for a while to get my eyes adjusted and sneak in without a light at all for the same reason you mentioned. If I hunted the eastern shore I would probably use a climber or high-up preset locations as well. I’ve been over there a few times and most of the hardwoods are very open with tall, limbless trees. Perfect for the climber or preset saddle location (Eberhart style) at 25 ft and up. So I agree w you. For me, hunting 99% on public land and here in VA where the public is often thicker, AND having to walk pretty far and climb through brush - the saddle is the best option for ME. I wouldn’t ride a mountain pony at the Kentucky derby as sure as I wouldn’t want a thoroughbred in the Rockies 😂 Thanks so much for watching! Good luck this year!!

Thanks for the video, always looking for new ideas. One point though, hopefully your major axis carabiner is rated much higher than 6 kN, should be ~22 or higher.

Thanks for checking! I just looked at it and I read off the minor axis accidentally! Appreciate the feedback
