Great video. Extremely helpful. EBP is a bad design with only two bolts holding it on. My 2019 XC40 isn't always seating right and then subsequently fails brake checks and you just hear the EBP spinning and the BRAKE idiot light illuminates. Even better, ACC engages but will fail coming to a stop, you think everything is ok then ACC just quits. Give the EPB a solid yank at the caliper mount point and it engages again and error goes away. Bolts cannot be tightened any further. Plastic on metal, bad design.

When I turn the allen ley do i need to turn it sgain to close it or just turn it once to move the poston back?

This is mental amount of work just to service the forks. I just dropped off my MS at a local bike shop to replace the seals, but after seeing this i wonder if i should go to the dealer instead.

Im planning to do the same, but im scared by Ducati s reliability. Im afraid is gonna stop in the middle of the road and with that much technology on it, no normal human would be able to fix it, only dealerships. Have you encounter any bike problems on the way?

Awesome vid ! Just a heads up, there is a cross-pin in the end of the jack handle. You can use that instead of the screwdriver to drop the jack. ;)

Don't take full top off once opened, crack bottom nut with 8mm Allen key and full insides slide out. Much easier. Putting seal back on, you risk damaging it sliding over the grooves, cover them with polypocket or glove to get seal over them.

Thanks for posting this video. I have the right fork pulled apart and your video was very helpful. I backed off the preload and found that it was only a 3/4 turn (On the right fork). Just wondering if that is what you had? Just doesn't seem like much. I still have to change the oil and then do the left fork. Hopefully it goes ok. Thanks again.

I believe manual states the wheel lug nuts need to be torqued to 140Nm (103 ft-lb). Thanks for the video! Good to know about the Allen bolts. Also... No way do I trust the car *not* to roll off a jack while in neutral. I put my car in park and had the manual electric parking brake OFF and had no issue taking rear or front brakes off.

Great video and very helpful. Overhauling my forks right now. Replacing all seals and bushes. To avoid removing the tank again I am planning to re-route the fork cable (left fork) not to go under the tank - just hope is long enough. Just note there is washer that fits under the spring. You can see it in the spare parts catalogue and I thought I lost it but it gets stuck at the bottom - can be seen using a torch and fished out with a magnet. I think yours got stuck at the bottom as well. Great video, well done !!👍👏

Nice job! Just pop the nose fairing and buy yourself some 6-inch hex keys with a 3/8 socket on the end and you can get to the top clamps through the gap in the plastics. Hope this helps!

That is a royal PITA..... just to replace the fork oil.... it would be nice if there was a drain bolt/ plug and the bottom of the shock and a fill port at the top to use between bushing/ seal replacement service intervals.

Did you notice that k&n filter is thinner and cover will not hold it down? I was replacing filter couple days ago and I noticed that, filter stay loose and that may cause damage to the engine. I ordered oem filter. Let me know what you think.
