UPDATE: this problem has disappeared after desmo service and battery changed.

Solution to this is to apply low throttle and it won't turn off when cold. You ever started up older bikes? You always have to hold throttle at 1000 RPM from 1-3 minutes so bike won't turn off after that period. New bikes control RPM automatically according to outside temperature and engine temp but old ones doesn't. :)

Not yet .. i have this in 5 of 10 cold starts. I have asked on my ducati local dealer here but he don't know nothing about it. He said maybe on the 30.000klm service the prob disappear . Im on 22.500 now

zoUpne my dealer has reset all data related to Air fuel calibration to see where the issue is but still the same! I've got only 5000km in it.

Just apply low throttle when starting up. 😉
