I’ve been really enjoying apricot & arnica tea lately. 🍵🫖 &I just got my hands on honey 🍯 powder as it’s less mess although I do miss the norm 🐝💕
@CatInMac2 ай бұрын
Oooo that sounds great! I've never heard of honey powder, I'll have to look into that 🤔 I picked up some raw natural honey straight from the hive and been using that for awhile now, its delicious and the consistency is so different than the honey I'm used to lol 🐝🍯
@por_Cristo072 ай бұрын
@ Every now and then my father will find a st. vendor selling their fresh honey and then bring some my way. My kids love it so much and it’s such a sweet gesture. 🫶🏻 They are compact in air tight jars still with a piece of comb right at the top of them. My father finds these farmers on the corners of the back roads. Sometimes he’ll come across a vendor who puts additional ingredients in the honey. We’ve tasted some with elderflower (oddly more enjoyable than anticipated lol), cinnamon & clove, and even jalapeño which I find unique. 😄 I have no idea why they chose these spots, because not many are passing through, but the atmosphere is just beautiful. Maybe they prefer the stillness over the hustle and bustle. Admittedly, it’s nice when a stream of voices aren’t stacked over each other. I feel like our brains 🧠 can get sophisticated with the surroundings just doing the basic of things like grocery or household shopping. So this is refreshing. Oh before I forget to mention, these same vendors also tend to have big, fresh ,and vibrant flowers with an array of colors ready for sale on the side. It’s a mix of dopamine and serotonin in one and for me, it’s appreciated. They really do know what they’re doing to folks like me. I’m like “take my money, take my time, etc lol 💕 Anyways, I find that natural honey is definitely more rich in taste. 🐝 💕

How do I measure my backsplash stove area to do determine how many boxes I need?
@CatInMac3 ай бұрын
Hello! It depends on the company you order from. We used the measurement guidance and calculator they company provided on their website to figure out how many boxes we would need. I used a tape measure straight across to find that number then I measured from the vent to the stove top and added those two numbers together. I was able to take those numbers and find out what square footage I needed based on the guidance on their website. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 😊💚

Wait! lvp is not an upgrade from hard wood floors. They owe you some money 😂
@CatInMac3 ай бұрын
Hello - thanks for watching! I think our builder considered LVP as an upgrade because its much easier to maintain. It is much more water resistant than hardwood floors and LVP also isn't light sensitive and won't warp unlike hardwood floors in harsh sunlight.
@MrHeat1up3 ай бұрын
@CatInMac Hello, this is all true. But price wise LVP is not even close to hardwood flooring.
@CatInMac3 ай бұрын
@@MrHeat1up Ahhh I see what you're saying! Yes tbh I'm actually not sure what the hardwood floor prices were since we automatically ask for LVP lol but the level of LVP we got was an upgrade from the standard - thanks again for watching ☺☺

We just signed a contract to build a new home near Orlando, FL and I wanted to thank you for uploading your down-to-earth videos on your home building experience. We're both trying to be careful with our money and that's going to mean doing a lot of projects ourselves instead of going through the design center. Your videos are a welcome break from so many others out there telling us to just go with what you want and forget about the cost. I was starting to feel foolish for accepting basic options.

Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! ☺ I'm glad you found my videos helpful - I totally understand the pressure of others recommending to spend a ton at the design center. That's just not realistic for most people! As long as you're happy with your choices, even if they are the standard options, that's all that matters ☺ and as you mentioned, you can always save money by choosing standard then doing your own DIY projects. Congratulations and good luck! ❤

@@CatInMac I’m dependent on audiobooks, and I have even returned books merely because the narrator was lackluster, too dramatic, or repeatedly did something that I just couldn’t *not* notice (like mouth breathing or projecting through their nose). 😅 If I have to spend over 25 hours with someone, I need a cozy narrator. That being said, the characters need to hold up, or else there’s no narrator that can do it any justice. Sheesh. I feel so mean. Hey! Burn Book vibes are empowering me to speak freely. 😉😁
@CatInMac8 ай бұрын
@@SnailMailShell Hahaha yesss! Don't feel mean, embrace the power of the Burn Book lol 😂 I completely understand the importance of having a good narrator and most of the time the audiobooks I listen to have pretty good narration - except for this one time, I was listening to a book from one of my FAVORITE narrators, but it was a dual POV book and the other woman had a slight inflection in her voice at the end of every. single. one. of her sentences that drove me crazy, but I powered through because of the other narrator 😂
