I made R letter resin for the first time with Uv resin so i made the first layer and filled it up with glitter gold flakes, and colour pigment, then i dried it with uv lamp then i did the 2nd layer and dried it and when i went to remove it from the mold the first layer paint was still wet and there was a hole at the edge and it was spikey from some corners how do i make it smooth? And how do i know if the first layer paint is dry?

Thank you so much! I am following this video to preserve my husband's funeral flowers. BTW you are using roses, white gerbera daises (big ones) , and regular daises. Those yellow roses could be Henry Fonda (I have those in my rose garden).

Fantastic, thank you, wish I had watched this before I started my first project. The other help I need is how to not make such a hot mess, making clean-up of my workspace and tools, and finding dried resin on furniture a real pain. Suggestions welcome!

If u wanna do layers I've found using uv resin makes that much easier. Plus the benefits of using uv resin is you don't have to measure parts A and B cause it's already mixed. And you don't have to wait hours cause it cures in minutes with the uv light!!

I’m laughing so hard because I’ve made all these mistakes, and then some others. My husband reminds me, “you didn’t fail. You learned how NOT to do it again!” The biggy is an even surface. Ugh! 😩😆

Hi... I know you made this 2 yrs ago. I'm barely getting into resin. But I wanted to tell you... laminate the cards before placing in the resin. That will resolve that issue. And that motto... I think you really should market it... it's oh so true! Oh last tip. I got a mini heating table that also is a level .

Can you do this indoors are is the resin to toxic to breath in? And that keads me to the question... Do you really have to wear one of those mask things with respirator? I was watching some other videos and they made ne scared to learn how to use resin.
