@@LoopyGoopyG Look, here's the thing. Just my opinion since you asked, so please don't get upset, but to me, Corporate Clash doesn't feel like Toontown. Not original Toontown at least. Let's say there's a person who hasn't played TTR or TTCC. If someone sees TTCC, plays through ToonTown Central, and then goes and plays TTR, plays through ToonTown Central. Chances are, they're gonna say "I guess TTR is an outdated version." and then go on to TTCC, thinking that's the proper way to play Toontown. I'll be honest, I've been a Rewritten Veteran for years. I was around for TTO and for the grand opening of TTR, in fact I still have Dr.Surelee on my TTR opener. I tried to get into TTCC, but... it got kind of silly real quick, even for Toontown standards. Streets entirely overhauled, an entire Corporate Ladder of Cogs (Lawbots) ripped of what made it memorable, an entirely new ladder which makes no sense if you stop and think about it, and to top it all off... The Managers. I do not like The Managers. Now, I will give credit where credit is due, I do like The Junior VP, Multislacker. He gets a pass because he's the son of one of The 4 Heads of Cog Nation, & to be honest if he was in TTR, he'd fit right in the Field Offices as a Mini Boss... But these other ones, Pacekeeper? Oil Derrick? Quackerjack? (I forgot the Duck Cog's name.) Bellringer? A bell?! Witch Hunter, Big Fish, the list goes on and on and on... These aren't cogs, these are Humanoid Toons pretending to be cogs. (A Who Censored Roger Rabbit reference) Oh, and don't get me started with Rainmaker. I can't find a single video of anyone defeating that sad mopey rain cloud. If I was there, I'd bring out the Pink Slip ASAP. If I can't do that? Then I'd bring out a Toontanic. What's even worse is that a Head of Cog Nation was fired to make way for this CLO Boss, but why? Everyone loves The CJ, I personally don't, but everyone else seems to adore The CJ. (Probably for all the Summons he gives out after a good Trial.) Now look, I could accept The CLO, I could, if she was like an alternative to The CJ, with added reward of course. Maybe 2 or 3 different Summons if you beat her, since she it takes at least 3 time longer to defeat her, Overclocked or not, while The CJ would still give a single summon, because his fights easier of the two, but to fir- AHEM! ..."Retire"... such an important boss cog from the OG Toontown just feels like a cruel joke. Let alone The CLO tore apart all of her Corporate Ladder for new heads and redesigns, & I'll be honest, I think I prefer the old ones. Shouldn't we have an option to switch it back in our graphic settings? Wizard101 can do that, TTR's gonna do it once it gets Repainted, why not The Lawbots? It just doesn't feel like Toontown, it feels like they're trying to alter Toontown so much slowly to the point to which they can look at Disney and say "Sorry, this is a completely different game, no copyright" and then rebrand the entire thing as "Corporate Clash: A Game Based On Toontown", all of that, just to sell merchandise for themselves. There isn't enough Quackerjack plushies they could make to make me consider Corporate Clash superior to TTR. Now you maybe saying, "What about the Under New Management? or Field Office Updates to TTR? Don't those alter the game just as Corporate Clash did?" To that, I say not nearly as much. You still have cog buildings, you still have the classic designs, you still have the old bosses. Nothing has been removed, only improved, such as The Field Office and the simplifying of soon to be New Management. Corporate Clash adds things too, but to me, Corporate Clash tries too hard in it. Removing shops and memorable designs for Modern HD Reworkings, oversized boss lobbies with too many distractions, and too many Managers to manage. I'll end by saying this "A Supervisor is a Cog's Boss. Not A Manager. A Manager is merely the cog who sits atop The Cog Building with his staff who answers to The Supervisor." As I said though, just sharing my opinion since you asked, please don't get upset by it in anyway. I grew up with the original and personally don't feel it needs any of these perk ups... like this COD: Zombies Gumball Machine System they got. Actually, here's a fun thing to do, go into Toontown Rewritten and try to find an actual Cog Computer used for work, and the CTR TVs in the Field Office does not count, since that's just security footage on a live broadcast and not a computer with Cog Wifi. You'll find that Cogs use typewriters instead, old world technology, rather than the advanced computers they use in TTCC. Makes ya think.... Still, if you got to the end of all this, let Elvis tell ya... Thank ya, thank ya for ya time.

Hey, I respect that! It's definitely got its own flavor to it and its own direction. It's definitely not the first time I've heard complaints about things in Corporate Clash that are perhaps a bit too far beyond the "toon technology" that classic cartoons have. I've also especially heard some loathing for cog head designs being too different/weird or completely going against the original cogs' design principles. Respectfully, someone who plays TTCC and thinks, "I guess TTR is an outdated version." and then goes on to TTCC, thinking that's the proper way to play Toontown, is not a problem Corporate Clash specifically is too specifically concerned about solving. When pressed, I don't think the majority of people have ever tried to deny that if you want the authentic Toontown Online experience, you should play TTR, but at the same time, they're not going to try and stop you from playing Clash or forming an opinion on what seems "newer" in that own person's mind. It's interesting to hear just how much you know about Corporate Clash despite your staunch opposition to a lot of what makes Corporate Clash. I think the main thing is that Corporate Clash never *tried* to identify itself as Toontown Online or sell you that it would be the same experience. And in the same line of thinking, Corporate Clash has never tried to sell that it's "superior to TTR," only that it's a completely different experience. Manager (miniboss) Cogs definitely have their own unique personalities in Corporate Clash. They're just about as much of living, thinking characters as Toons are, instead of the automation "cogs in the machine" that *all* cogs are. If those minibosses are a dealbreaker for you, then Corporate Clash definitely isn't the right fit. (here's the 3rd result when searching for "defeating rainmaker" btw kzbin.info/www/bejne/laumYaOjhrWXj5o ) In the story of Corporate Clash, the C.J. was put under heavy review by the Chairman, and the C.J. actually voluntarily quit. That is to imply they might not be gone forever. I've heard people ask for the ability to switch back/forth from old graphics/models to new ones, even from the very launch of the game. For the size of the volunteer, unpaid team that works for Clash, I don't think it's simply realistic to support an old-mode toggle for literally every single update they add that changes something else. Toon heads, game textures, street models, cog heads, cog lobbies, gag models, etc; even just trying to backport and connect those dots to how TTO used to be is an unbelievably big amount of work at this point. Realistically, from the launch of Corporate Clash, the idea has always been the same - the whole idea of the game is to be completely different and change a lot, and it's not going to be spent trying to develop everything and then also spend extra time going back over everything to make sure you and flip a toggle to backport it all to a TTO-compatible experience. When you imply they're just changing it to avoid copyright and say "just to sell merchandise for themselves" and include "There isn't enough Quackerjack plushies they could make", if you're referring to the Duck Shuffler plushies they partnered with Makeship to produce, do be aware that 100% of any profits the team could have made (over $22,000) was donated entirely to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Don't get me wrong, I love Cashbot HQ. It's probably my favorite map in the game, but you can't talk about Clash doing oversized maps (which I'm also not sure which you're referring to, as even the new Lawbot HQ is pretty small, probably smaller than even Sellbot HQ's courtyard) when you got those multi-minute walker maps in the original. Would you try to sell me that TTR's Bossbot HQ isn't almost ridiculously huge? They jumbo-fied that map compared to TTO. Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset. I completely respect that, at the end of the day, the vibes are off for you, and you just don't think the changes are "it". ​​@@TheElvisJamboreecorporate clash is definitely wanting to do its own thing and add more features and other things for people to do and create things that you would never see in regular toontown, its fine if you prefer the old one and dont like the new stuff tbh but honestly when you sit back and look at the stuff they did its honestly super cool and a lot of time went into it even if you personally dont understand it, toontown is a cartoon world, things arent going to always look the same and are going to be silly and exaggerated, thats the nature of the game
