PUT THIS ON PLAYSTATION. A lot more people have ps5s than Xbox’s.

Will there ever be a PlayStation release? My main console is the ‘ol 5 and since watching my brother play on XBOX, I’ve been dying to play the game.

Loved this video. Thank You! I have been pausing it continuously looking at your effects chains and researching the kontakt instruments you were using. Very inspiring, I havent fired up ableton in a long while, but this gave me some inspiration and ideas for sound design, so thank you for that. I make music normally, and I guess my sound design is lacking somewhat, so I am looking forward to trying out some of the things you have included here. I am now off to look into Ghostwood Empire. Best Regards.

is there an ETA of development completion for valheim? i prefer to play games like this after all of the changes get closer to 1.0

No, they have literally zero plans for this game. It is all but abandoned. There might be one person working 5 hours a week on it.

Excellent work! The feeling I had when I first heard Gjall is indescribable. Those sounds, which seemed to announce the apocalypse, combined with an unknown environment and the inability to see anything due to the mist, truly made me run away terrified towards the plains. At that moment, I had no idea what I had heard. Although I was able to fight the Gjall in other raids, even today, when I'm battling in the Ashlands, I still feel a sense of fear whenever I hear those creatures. My sincere congratulations from Colombia!

I always thought the gjall call was, at least thematically, a cross between a fog horn and a trombone or other horn instrument.

Well, i hated the mist. With 500 hours played, i actually dropped the game completely within days of Mistlands dropping. It's a complete 180 degree switch from what made Valheim such a great atmosphere of exploration. The beauty and the views and freedom to roam. It just took that enjoyment away for me at least. Just my 2 cents. Maybe I'll wait until the game is complete and see if things are fixed.

Legit thought it was a fog horn this whole time but this is a lot cooler Ending of with ye ol Deya Saga. Love that piece.

"We need a sound for a flying tick monster." "How about a woman singing a single note for 5 seconds?" "Good, good, but it needs something...." "Say no more, I'll add a grunting seal." "Perfect!" It blows my mind that someone can do this.

Ah, the Mistlands-a cozy little slice of nightmare. It's dark, it's misty, and the general vibe is "permanent spooky Halloween night." So, you're wandering around, admiring the mist like a tourist in a horror film, when suddenly... Gjall horn! You look up, and there it is, this gigantic flying monstrosity, big enough to turn the sky red. You, naturally, react like the hero you are... by running for your life. And as if you weren't already considering chugging a stamina potion, you notice it's dropping some trick-or-treats. But hold on-it's not the candy bar you were hoping for. Nope, it's more like, "Here’s a fun-sized portion of terror and misery! Enjoy!" Then, of course, you wake up back in your bed, naked, like, "Well, that escalated quickly."
