The M57 in Omega and L322 is not shared with E70 tho'. E70 has 2 generations newer aluminium block variant of the M57 than those vehicles. Photochromatic mirrors are common for BMWs that are over 10 years older than the E70 also.

Forget about this device I picked up, instead, focus on this USB port in the center console. Stay tuned for a new video on the actual device. I'll show you how it works. Why are you not just pairing your phone with the car's Bluetooth? This seems unnecessary.

It's for wired Carplay and Android Auto. If you don't need all those extra features than the standard bluetooth connection for car audio and calls will do 👍

Have you thought about piggybacking a hardwired charging pad. I did it a couple of years ago and put it where the pad is in front of the gear knob. I’d already installed a double din wireless car play head unit. Awesome job well happy with it.

I've got the Motorola version of this (android only) and it works flawlessly. I use it because it's convenient and it means you're not fully charging the phone battery all the time which isn't great for the battery.

Arrived this morning, so 13 days delivery Not too bad I suppose. Tracking number was updated almost daily with progress. The QR code on the card in the box was next to useless as it only directs you to their KZbin site, not the specific item bought. BUT, as you say, it is a very easy install and I had it up and running within a minute. Not taken it out in anger yet, but will update on how it goes if anyone wants to know. It did give me another screen when opening up CarPlay though, so a bonus there.

i bought a civic with a roof rack and after trying to take it off i realized the stud that is on the last part of the rear had the head snapped off due to pressure of the roof rack so going to have to bodge it
@GeesDriveАй бұрын
That's less than ideal. I have actually bought the roof rack for mine as I thought it would be interesting but don't fancy cutting up the rails just yet.
@theprogrammerrolandmc303929 күн бұрын
@@GeesDrive You don't have to cut up the rails after having a look on youtube videos my stud was not broken the rear of the rail actually slides back to adjust the last clip to run on to the stud. so the rails on my civic where still fully in place. All you have to do with regards to the last clip on the rubber seal is pull the end part towards the boot to release it. My roof rack was a nissan model so any roof rack can fit the civic.

My ep3 was the same. I fitted a non resonated centre section and a spoon n1 back box and on cold start it used to echo all around the little estate that I live on 😅 I never had any issues with any of my neighbours but when I started a new job that required me to leave my house at 4:30 every morning I took it upon myself to fit a resonated centre section again. Do you think I couldnt fill the full crack or I need to look for another cracks around windshield such as bottom corner? Please help to fix it permanently :) Thanks mate

Glad the video helped. One thing I have noticed after repairing the cracks are that the rubber seal around the windscreen deteriorates and ideally the windscreen needs refitting but some automotive silicone sealant has helped mine.
