Beautiful. They look very happy. Syrian and Chinese hamsters are generally not bitey if you're nice. Robos will just use the speed force if they're unhappy. Russian hamsters are fully ready to bite you if you vex them in any way.

Wiem, że to film sprzed trzech lat i chomiczka już nie ma z nami, jednak oglądając to pomyślałam, że tak wygląda szczęśliwy chomik 🥰. Cotton dzięki tobie miał szczęśliwe życie. Mógł trafić do jakiegoś dziecka, które by go trzymało w malutkiej, plastikowej klatce, a trafił do ciebie i żył w swoim małym raju na Ziemi 💖.

What type of soil do you use? I'm wondering because I want to put soil in my hamster's enclosure but I've heard it can't be any...

I think it's lovely that the hamster is well-socialized while also living in a more naturalistic environment. The best of both worlds.

I had a hamster at 14 - nearly 50 years ago. Freda. Lord I loved that wee creature. I made her a huge tank from old greenhouse panes held together with strong tape. She had a deep layer of sawdust, twigs, leaves, a little wooden house and the best diet. She would “chatter” if I wasn’t quick enough with the treats. She lived for 3 years. I used to watch her for hours on her wheel, a metal one. She would go for hours at night. Occasionally she would escape, cross the room and I would find her curled up on my pillow in the morning.

It’s sad that hamsters are kept in the wrong conditions considering how much they love to dig
How do you manage mold? I´ve tried having Plants but with the humidity of watering them, the hay on the other side of the tank started to mold all the time

I always wanted a natural habitat for hamsters that didn't need cleaning or disturbing them and still able to keep them happy and well fed. So i was very happy to stumble upon your video and learning what to do or use if i try to do this. So don't give up and please make more videos, especially a beginner tutorial guide on how to make more better ones and what plants to grow that will be good for them even if they ate them. Thank you.

He has no freedom - personally would you rather live in a environment which is closed off but you don't have the risk of dying from accident etc. or live in an environment where you were free to go were you want at any given time with the risk of dying increased - I prefer the second

the hamster is not wild. it'll die very quickly. it's cross breed to be made into a pet. there's a huge difference between that and this, be serious.

Fascinating, entertaining and very educational! Thanks. I had a hamster when I was 10 and enjoyed everything about 'him' apart from cleaning the cage! My only criticism (I'm a musician!) is how you choose some beautiful pieces of music and then play them for 2 seconds and then jump to another completely different piece! It's like cutting up a book and throwing it up in the air then joining the pieces together again. Erik Satie would not be pleased! But thanks for the visuals!
