Okay, now I know which aquascape would be next to the “dragon stone”… 😅 How simple and beautiful… it reminded me of my aquascape “the floating log”… 1 piece of wood and a plant on top. I didn't know alternanthera could be glued. What a good idea. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

So what kind of glue are you using ? regular hardware store super glue gel or is that some special type of Loctite ? Nice simple scape the only thing id change is a darker sand color.

Hi - I prefer to glue plants onto rocks or wood as the thread tends to flatten the leaves - in your flashback you used the glue - any particular reason to use thread this time??? Looks lovely and love the waltz music - so calming and gentle on the ear and senses!!!! K

How do you prevent algae with such a low plant count? Scape looks great by the way

Thanks!! The setup is still new, there will probably be some algae at first. Regular water change, not overfeeding the fish, lighting intensity 50% for now 6 h / d and careful with fertilizer at the beginning. I will add a shrimp to this tank.

Plants take nutrients from the water, I dose the fertilizer.

Thanks!! My family. They told me to buy some fish that they would actually see in the tank :) All my other fish are small, and some are very, very small. So the goldfish are now a contrast to all that in my fish room. Although I was thinking about a goldfish tank a year ago, even some viewers suggested it to me. That is not a really planted goldfish aquarium, I only have a couple of plants and I think I will take them out as well. Goldfish are beautiful in themselves, you don't need so much in their tank. The most important thing is good filtration and clean water.

This type of wood in 99% of cases does not float. The wood is quite heavy.

It would be great but the water circulation in the tank is very strong for betta fish.
