Some say put out and propagate but it's difficult to put out the whole plant and then replant. I’m new to co2.I bought that fluval 45 g for smal tanks.I got it in a 10 gallon fluval substrate and root tabs with on dwarf hair grass and fluval nano light on pretty good lighting.filter is a sponge and the tiny bubbles that come out in the tank only go to the surface.do those tiny bubbles suppose to hit the plants? Say I get a hang on the back filter to move the tiny bubbles around? Been 3 weeks and everything dying.also have bubbles set to 2-3 seconds a bubble.my co2 checker is green meaning there is co2 in the water but idk if the tiny bubbles suppose to spread all around the tank or is it on the bubbles just float to the surface and disappears.please help

Tiny CO2 bubbles should spread all over the tank. It is not good when CO2 goes directly to the surface, it should dissolve in water. But if the drop checker shows a light green color then CO2 it should be OK.

No,japonica does not require frequent trimming. Almost a perfect plant :)

Thanks!! Appreciate it. With a paper towel. I do this before turning on the light and again a couple of hours later if needed. In some aquariums I don't have to at all because there is no need. Some aquariums are simply "oilier" than others.

I love it. The "hitchhiker" could hardly be placed better.:) I think that little break in the texture of the carpet is that "special ingredient" here. Off-topic: Could you please tell us what became of "The Cliff"? Maybe I just missed a video, but I haven't seen it being taken apart. Would be interesting to know at least weather it's still going or not.

That tank is pretty old, scratched and the silicone has darkened in some places. That annoyed me a little visually. So I bought a new tank and now on that place is aquascape Red In The River .

Hi. I think it's a small tank for koi fish, unless it's a baby. Even if it's a baby, you'll have to upgrade the tank very soon. That HOB filter seems very small to me, it only has an activated carbon cartridge and a filter floss inside I believe. Very poor biological filtration. If there is enough of the water surface agitation in the tank then you don't need the air pump,but an air pump can be very beneficial you can add it.

@@utkarshbarange203 Did you cycle the aquarium? If the water smell you have too much ammonia in the tank. It is very dangerous for fish. You have big fish that eat a lot and poop a lot, the filter is very small for that aquarium and those fish.
