Hi Eryn, nice video. If I can give a feedback, while I agree with all you said, I think most of your points are argumentative, and rooted in (still common moral values, which are arbitrary and subject to change ("you wouldn't want our society to look like bonobos, right ?"). I'm saying this because I've been surrounded with extreme feminists at some point in my life, and all my feelings, opinions and arguments did not much to keep me grounded and aligned with my values against their hatred. It's only later, while exploring the fundamentals of men and women biological differences and how they affect our daily lives and our relationship that I found some legitimacy in my feelings. I think the world needs more people like you, to encourage men to be strong and have a positive impact, but with current cancel culture, I think any difficult opinion needs to be based on strong facts to survive. I wish your channel to bloom and reach as many people as possible, and I hope you'll be ready to weather the hatred that will come with your success. I wish you the best !

For the same reason societies ran by groups of 13 year old boys don't exist. They make for fairly poor soldiers. You can't make men and women hate each other, we depend on each other to exist, and while intellectually very similar men will always been better suited for violence. I mean even in the modern era, with all the advantages of modern weaponry you simple can't get past the physical differences. Men can carry more supplies and ammo, utilize heavier weaponry, have an easier time clearing brush and making barricades, and are less likely to die from a gun shot or a fall. Eventually war happens, and afterward war heroes make it into government at a disproportionate rate. Men make up the majority of those by far. Also you can't get around the fact that men make better soldiers simply because of how human reproduction works. Men are ultimately more expendable in war time. We become the defacto protectors. You could kill half the men in a country and have it not effect birth rates all that much. You kill half the women and you have societal collapse as you end up with a generation of old people with no one to support them.

Just an observation... It's really easy to get a guy to work against his own interests. It is core to ALL of chivalry, and just about everything under the "real man" banner. The thing is, this isn't meaningless. This is how the world we live in was built... for women. Yeah yeah... it's true, and y'all know it. Men would live in caves still if we weren't motivated to seek women's favor. There IS NO reciprocal instinct. Women have no instinct at all to sacrifice for men. In fact all modern evidence would indicate that women won't sacrifice for kids either. It's all about her. In the past, interdependency would have motivated women to work with men. But men have created a world of abundance that no longer requires this cooperation, and so it's gone. Until this dynamic is fairly widely acknowledged, we're in an existential death spiral. This doesn't have a natural cure, because it's an unnatural problem.

Had this on my watch later playlist for a while, glad I finally loaded it up. Great video. It's funny, but I think there are way more men who buy into feminism than women these days. The fact that men and women are just psychologically different is so obvious that I don't think anyone sane would disagree, provided they've had some kind of experience with the opposite sex. The issue imo is that men almost always want to be the good guy. Just let the girls have what they want, bro. That attitude is actually selfish, it's just a strategy for mate-guarding / status seeking. I think this is more than an optimization problem with desirability and status as the variables. There's a good reason why every successful society ever has regulated and proscribed women's behavior and status. It's not purely an optimization problem, it has to do with basic, biological differences in our psychology and life history Leave twenty young men alone on an island, and they'll build civilization. Leave twenty young women alone and... well, they'll establish a schismatic yet rigidly enforced pecking order and wait for some men to show up and make civilization for them. Not to knock on women, this is just a basic fact about who we are as animals. A lot of the "red-pill" guys are good at pointing out that modern society has made women very unhappy and put them in a bad evolutionary mismatch (which of course affects men too), but their solutions are often ridiculous. MGTOW will solve nothing, becoming a millionaire and having a Bugatti and a harem will solve nothing. I personally see feminism as the most misogynistic ideology ever. It totally devalues and completely erases women and feminity,; "to be equal you must be just like a man". Men shill for it more than women, purely because they think it will get them laid / signal their virtue. In general, I think women know feminism is BS. They know it in their bones. Men don't have that same experience though. The easiest way to understand women is to have a romantic relationship with one, which sadly a lot of young men these days have never experienced. I think the problem is ultimately about men today not enforcing the cultural norms that kept our society healthy. The road to hell is pushed with good intentions, though. TL;DR : Women belong in the kitchen, boys. Just like the children yearn for the mines. Stop being fake and gay. Take a stand. Be a man. This nonsense is only happening because we are allowing it and literally cheering it on. Stop cheering. Stop being cringe.

@erinbyrd5377 Ty, looking forward to watching the rest of your stuff. We certainly live in very interesting times. There's an ancient Chinese curse that condemns one's enemies to such a fate, but I don't think that complaining about fate is ever the right answer. In my view, this is primarily a men's issue. Young men just don't have the personal agency and freedom to go out into the world and do the things they want to do anymore. This causes all sorts of problems, and one of those is that they get a lot less attention from women. This is toxic in all sorts of ways, but a big one for me is that I don't think that men these days (especially young men) appreciate the fact that they NEED women to be a part of their lives. Women are born with a much more accessible and visceral sense of what the opposite sex brings to the table, just because it's much easier for women to get physical access to a (seemingly) suitable mate, and their biological sex plays a much more tangible role in women's lives (this "desirability" factor you mentioned). That situation comes with enough risks, joys and pitfalls that most women I've known "get it" pretty quickly. So many men today have never had a woman in their life though, which is a gigantic tragedy that harms everyone. They just don't get it. They don't even know what (if?) they're doing wrong. It makes men very frustrated and even harder for women to understand, and vice-versa. Our psychology and life-history has evolved to be complementary and symbiotic, we're supposed to complete and support each-other. One of my favorite facts to tell people who think I'm "anti-woman", is how the Vikings would bury women who died in childbirth with the same honors as men who died in battle. Everybody has anyways liked and respected women. Yes, men are pigs. Cry about it. It's not hard to end up with a knight in shining armor instead of a degenerate. All of this natural and cultural radar is just shared by modern social norms, though. It all needs to go, if you ask me. We need to get back to sanity, and that starts with the men. Hop to it, boys. The people standing in your way can always just be gotten rid of =P

You hit the nail on the head there, saying that women are pressured to not have kids, be independent, and single; not what people claim women are being pressured to do, which is be a wife and have kids. I think people in general should have more kids, they are the greatest blessing in life. Modern feminism, I think, poisons young girls' minds. When a woman decides to be a wife and mother, society looks down on her and makes her rethink her choices, making her depressed and less likely to be happy overall.

Thanks Erin, I enjoyed part one. Well organized and straight-forward. A few questions: You mentioned the relationship between the manipulator and the naive one. Are there any other interactions like that which pop up in folklore? What has your research revealed on how each of the archetypal expressions are shaped by their relations with the others, and the product of those exchanges? And what’s the analysis of how these relations are portrayed in humanity’s collective stories, in reference to the social programming of masculine affectations through history? i.e. Polti’s 36 dramatic situations, the I Ching hexagrams etc.. Looking forward to part two! Cheers, Adam

We Thanks God still live in Patriarchy. Feminism is just an ATTEMPT to replace it with an unsustainable matriarchy. It wont happen .
@Tiger741474 күн бұрын
This is all true, but I think the "capitalism" criticism is worth addressing. Corporate law ensures that a corporation is only legally obliged to make a profit, restrained only by a morality that is in constant decay vs moneyed interests, making corporations the new exploitative aristocracy. Proponents of feminism and matriarchy are likely to say this is due to men/patriarchy, instead of looking at it as what it actually is: class exploitation. Considering how so much of feminism is clearly classist, geared towards making women more like wealthy business executives -- the most immoral single group of people in the world -- out of envy for their lavish lifestyles and no consideration for its cost to humanity, completely blind to fields that are actually dominated by men, such as construction, infrastructure, service, etc. I think we need to talk about how corporations have duped many women into being the unwitting proponents of corporatism and overseers of the working class.
