Yes, I like your examples for positive feedback loops - those are very popular in the public mindset and explain your point. However, if you consider them a little deeper, you might realize that forest fires are actually negative feedback (since each fire removes the fuel available for the next one - which is why they used to do controlled burns all the time). As for CO2, despite what they try to tell you, it's not quite that simple. CO2 does absorb IR, however, once the saturation point point is reached, additional CO2 effects are diminished (which is a negative feedback). The very stability of earths climate over the millions of years (during which CO2 levels were much higher than today) argues strongly that there must be multiple negative feedback loops operating - luckily for us, else we wouldn't be here today :) Anyway, I don't mean to distract from your excellent topic (once you understand Antifragility, your whole perspective on life changes). But since there were no other comments, I didn't think it would hurt.
