What about wrapping the UserStats component with a React.memo(UserStats) ? What that be low performant as well?

Because you made bad choices and now you have to live with them.

Great video 👏🏼 Can you review my codebase? How can I send you the code repo link? Believe me the code I've written is really good enough that can be used in your content I just wanted that a senior developer like you can review my code and suggest me more good ways to optimise and restructure the entire code base ❤

jo, your vscode theme is slick. I like how the code is poping out. whats the name of it?

This a good explanation of useRef. However, there is an issue when using it when Concurrent Mode is activated in React. That's a topic that is even more complex in regards to the usage of useRef. I don't know if you can make a video on but it would help people who are going to run into that issue sooner or later. Thanks

After watching some of your tutorials, I'm really interested in purchasing your course. Will there be any testing modules in it? For example unit-testing and integration-testing? I've noticed that not a lot of courses go into depth regarding TDD, and I've learned that it's pretty important in the industry.

This is just a test for how good you're with react. But it's best you don't introduce bidirectional data flow in react. It will just introduce bugs and make the code harder to read overtime.

This requires installing React on both server and client. Doesnt that cost more space?
@programmers_sanctuary2 күн бұрын
Yep, it does. That's why if you see your bundled stuff on Vercel, you'll see that your RSC (React Server Component) bundles have at least 4 MB, lol.

RSC being your pages that are served on the server.

You really need to make up and code larger projects when you're learning... and even then coming into a real world dev team, someone on the team should really give new hires a tour of the code base.

Thanks a lot. The debounce function was not working in React and now I know why and how to do it.

I was hoping this would be a video describing the difference between wrapping a component with a div vs wrapping with a fragment. Instead, this video is just describing the principal that all elements must have a container (fragment/div etc). Which isn't really 'teaching' anything per se... It's just relating a sentence from the React Docs.

What is the difference between useMemo and useEffect? If we wrap the selectedItem function inside a useEffect like- useEffect( ( )=>{ const selectedItem=items.find((item)=>item.isSelected) },[items ] ) then it's serving the same purpose.

grouse wrapping the context in a hook. You can build up the provider with state & mutators and pass that to the value of the provider. There's no need to wrap the context with hook jank to extend the context -> with a wrapped hook A) you're not enforce access & mutations B) you also have an extra shit tonne of renders as the hook runs through state changes in every component C) you remove the useContext which hides the fact the component is consuming global/shared state.
