Again I love my Big Bite! It's for me the best ball in my bag for transition. I'm just thankful you didn't put it at #1. 😂🤣 BW 3.0 is my best Assym Solid out of the bag for league game 1 into 2. To your point the Xcell did not match up for me at all! But, I gave my buddy who I do league with the xcell and he loves it! he bowls really straight though.

I’m using the COLUMBIA 300 KABOOM and was wondering how you rated it on your list. Personally I love the ball and it makes it fun when I get a strike so that I can shout KABOOM each time. By the way I throw the ball 3-4 boards to my left and it reacts perfectly for me. Many thanks in advance for your comments

I like my Super Cuda, but it's definitely situational. It's a solid look for me on my high-friction house shot because it doesn't overread the friction and boom like a lot of other low-to-medium-strength balls (with my lower speed and not-insignificant rev rate, that's a big deal; I basically cannot throw any Storm R2S balls there because of how responsive that cover is to friction, and those are supposed to be God-tier for most people!). If your house is lower-friction, though, I can DEFINITELY see it not being your cup of tea.

I dont match up with any strong solid ball so they all would rank low on my list...Luis list should mean nothing to you. Just compare the shapes of the balls in his comparisons and then make a decision if it will be good for your style

For Motiv being number 2 ball brand for you, quite a number of Motiv balls on this list. I agree with your assessment on the Supra and EJ Venom ball. I didn't get the Supra GT after testing it and i regret paying an absurd amount of money for the EJ ball. did not work for me

It's crazy that there are 53 new balls for 2024. It's at the point it's a joke. There isn't a whole lot of new either. It's just rehashing balls and upping the price point $25-$40. Even worse is the pro's glamouring every new ball. Sorry, nearly every new ball is now running $175 and up to $215 undrilled. Add in $60+ for drilling and the cost just becomes too much.

Super Cuda PowerCor seems like a ball no one wanted but C300 said "let's milk that Cuda line for all it's got!" It's gonna be dirt cheap once they discontinue it if they haven't already.

Well for the last five I don't like either. I threw 801 with the mesmerized out of the box. 767 with the harsh reality. Also, love the criterion and probably the hardest hitting ball I've ever thrown in my life. The atlas hybrid I also liked but the rest of the bottom five I can't stand just like you. Mesmerized is one of the best balls I have ever thrown.

The Road was hot trash with Reacta Gloss. With 500/2000 surface that ball, for me, is great. Once it gets shined up it goes a country mile

I'm always afraid of changing surfaces. 😂 I have The Road and it works for me most the time. I have been curious on putting power edge on it though. I have The Road, Harsh Reality Pearl and Duo I need to get rid of the reacta Gloss.

I love my Harsh Reality cuz it's my go to when my mechanics need to be straightened out and when I hit it with a 500 pad it really pops and hits hard but I quit hitting it with surface and started playing more down and in with specifically to get my mechanics worked out then once I throw a game with it then I can resort to my Hy road or my sublime. Tbh I thought the Sublime was great a t 1st but now that thing does nothing but wrap me 10 pins all the time now. Shit I've even thrown my old school rubicon and still love that ball. So I shoulda have said I can resort to my hy road or my rubicon instead of my sublime

@@chrisdriehurst9641 I'm kinda feeling the same thing about mine as well. Out of the box and for about 30 games that ball did great for me then all of a sudden it just flopped. It's pretty bad when I now have to use what is supposed to be a strong asymmetrical with a decent cover on it and play down and in with it instead of being able to shape it out down lane and get more angle out of it like I was able to when it came out of the box.

The harsh reality I thought it would be in the top balls for sure because you loved the original reality and I thought you said in the review video, it was just as good or even better in my opinion based what I saw in the video between the two balls, one thing I don’t like about the reality at least on video and that is for a big asymmetrical solid bowling ball. In my opinion it should not be a clean ball. The harsh reality is closer and it should be traditional, asymmetrical, solid, absolute similar issue and even the X cell looked a little too clean as well

Luis I will say that again these were only demo days. I try them. I do not have any of these in my arsenal. The optimum idol pearl may have not been simply the right tool for the right job. It was too long and way too clean maybe the lightning blackout as well I tried that then again I wasn’t having my best game either so keep that in mind. I think it was a little overrated/under performed. Now I wanna ask you a question. I thought you loved that ball a lot early this year plus you got more than one you used it in league so something had to change with you. Luis like you said at the end of this video, I respect the fact that that’s the beautiful thing about Bowling . You can love and hate whatever you want said that though this is where I am critical here you don’t have to agree with me, but I need your help help me understand you better obviously I understand what you’re saying, but I’m not grasping it comprehensively. In my opinion based what I’m seeing it’s like you’re always changing. Now to be fair here if you’re talking about improving your game as of how to get better with your technique and such that’s always a thumbs up because we all need it. I will also and I will say it again older and newer mean it’s better? That’s why I tend to be critical and I will apologize for another video. I was being a little sharp, I’m not changing my stance for me. Having said that if it’s helping you love Bowling again then I will respect your decision

No hate this year, but I am struggling with the Pure Envy. Not sure if it's the 25x5x25 layout, or I'm not finding enough oil. But, I did hate the Black Venom last year, and it doesn't need oil. After some adjustments, I don't hate the Venom anymore. Just don't necessarily like it either. 😅 The Big Time Special Edition was rough, too. As for love, the Archetype Hybrid is my absolute favorite. I also have loved the Trouble Maker Pearl and Effect. My love last year was the original Archetype, Theorem, and Infinity.

Your VAL angle is pretty strong. 25° on a Pure Envy creates an earlier transition from skid to hook. It makes the ball start its reaction sooner on the lane, ideal for heavy oil patterns (meaning not great on a house league pattern)

@@GrumpaBaggins try changing the surface, start with 3000 grit and try it out. Move to 4000 if 3000 is too strong, then go polish as the last resort before re-drilling it
