It's the individual creativity that blows me away... that wonderful mix of anticipation with a touch of projected anxiety that I feel _every time,_ because I know that the performer's artistry ensures that no two "card tricks" or sleight of hand are ever the same. And even if someone does flash, it doesn't detract from my appreciation of their skill... it's a reminder that an _enormous_ amount of thought & practice go into every trick. I'm just as fascinated by the science & art behind misdirection & illusion as the physical skills behind sleight of hand, so those brief peeks behind the curtain are also magic to me. Bravo all! 👏 And thanks for sharing this Chris, loved it 👍

6:53 that was pretty nuts 😱 tbh though I miss the "you lose" part of YFYL. It was nice when it was just fellow players who actually knew what to look for and there were few enough that they could actually say it because then at least I knew even if I hadnt caught it an expert had. But I get you wanted to make the event bigger and you kinda lose that ability for people to speak up when the crowd is huge. I just hope you dont give up on the smaller meetings with just magicians

The flash-paper-and-shoe got me good the first time, then when I watched it again, I couldn't believe how obvious it was, hahaha! 😂😂 That's an awesome trick. (EDIT: Incidentally, I LOVE this series as well. I watch them all the way through, then replay it and scrutinize every trick. It ends up being about 2 1/2 hours of viewing pleasure.)
