In Generations, Eggman still wanted to murder Sonic either way. You can hear it when he says BURN he really wants to kill sonic right then and there and he was being unhinged about it the only difference is Sonic didn't destroy Eggman's dreamland beforehand. So there wasn't as much fuel to his anger like in unleashed but nonetheless 25 years worth of your creations getting destroyed will make you utterly insane and bloodlusted. it's different with other mechs since they were designed to hold off sonic and defeat him in a more technical way the egg dragoon was made specifically to counter all of Sonic's attributes to make him hopeless and let him know eggman won before killing him. But Sonic wins because he takes advantage of eggman's desperation

Feeling second-hand embarrassment from some of the FNaF fans commenting on this video and refusing to even engage with what you're saying. As both a huge MCU and FNaF fan I almost completely agree with what you said. It is true that the MCU could release literally anything back in 2018 no matter how bad and it would still make a billion bucks (I mean just look at Captain Marvel Ant-Man & the Wasp), and recent Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Ant-Man sequels which are better (yeah, you heard me) are NOWHERE near as successful. Same as the FNaF movie was an exception, Deadpool & Wolverine was one too. You have to be delusional to not see this. Me personally, I am morbidly curious about new FNaF games. If they're good like Into the Pit, then awesome. If they're trash like Security Breach, then oh well. My expectations are always low. What I'm looking forward to the most is fangames.

The community is not going to like this, but I agree from a popular culture angle. The games are still great and fun, but my non fnaf community people I talk to know nothing about em, and they're not really advertised. I work at Spirit Halloween and kids definetly preferred Poppy to FNAF, barley any kids wanted FNAF costumes. It's not a bad thing, FNAF was never gonna be the worlds biggest franchise forever and I don't think the series is bad by any means.

I suggest properly watching a video to gain an actual understanding of its' creator's intents rather than assigning your own, emotion-heavy assertions and assuming they hold true. Please do actual research into how to politely phrase criticisms instead of being like this and give better feedback :)

I've been a fan since I was only 7 (around the time when the Halloween update for FNAF 4 came out) and I honestly disagree, FNAF has had 3 solid game releases (those being RUIN, Help Wanted 2 and also Into the Pit) and if Secret of The Mimic is good then that will only make FNAF's case even better. FNAF has already had it's own movie, and a second movie is coming out in 2025. Five Laps at Freddy's is also coming out next year. FNAF is also getting a Dead by Daylight Collab next year. Not to mention that the 1st movie was the highest grossing horror film of 2023, and is Blumhouse's highest grossing film ever. Say what you want about modern FNAF, but in my opinion I really don't think FNAF is on it's way out and to me it's still got a lot of potential.

As someone who’s been a fan since I was little, since way back when FNAF 2 released onwards, I earnestly agree with everything in your video. It makes me really sad to see how many people fervently defend where the franchise is right now, it feels like they’ve been scammed. Beyond the Mimic being a boring, vapid industry plant villain, or all the horrifically wasted plot lines mixed with completely idiotic retcons, or even every game past Help Wanted just being a disappointment, the series was destined to reach this point. If we’re being honest, Scott has been wildly flailing since nobody liked the end of FNAF4, and the franchise has been on a downhill battle since, even when nobody realized it. His lack of planning, care, or even integrity as a human being are an incredibly large part in how this series has just withered away, and Security Breach mixed with his 5 billion novellas were the breaking point of how much he could bs his way through. The mishandling of SB was the nail in the coffin for me that there’s just no reason to stay along for the ride anymore, what’s the point if the guy in charge can’t even be bothered to get his crap together. I will say tho I loved the movie, and I’m excited for the next one. It feels like the only thing with the franchise that’s holding it together, I can enjoy it with my family and friends without being frustrated with it, even if it’s not perfect in the slightest lol.

@FiremanSamBoy2008 RUIN introduced a villain the majority of people don't really care about that really has zero presence or character without building on any previously established characters like the game desperately needed, Help Wanted 2 did f all with lore or anything in contrast to its predecessor, and Into the Pit is good, but it's another alternate universe tale completely seperate from the rest of the series. There just isn't much to care for anymore. If secrets of the mimic somehow cleans up the nuclear mess up that was security breaches story by setting up the mimic well, then I could forgive it all, but I sincerely doubt that all this timeline zig zagging will be worth it. The movie is great, I said as much, I'm happy with it, but you're missing the point. The point is not "is fnaf going to fail and go into obscurity soon?", it's "Is the series, beyond the movies or collabs, even worth following anymore because of it's major differences in tone, direction, as well as the massive flubs that have happened in recent years that drastically altered how multiple of the games turned out?" Nobody is saying fnaf will stop it's train from chugging on, what people are saying is that, for multiple years now, a large portion of fans that were here since mad long ago don't like the annoyingly winding road the series has spiraled itself into. People, especially fans who weren't here for those first 3 entries, can like it however they please, but I firmly believe that to genuinely defend it and how it has turned out is to be scammed. I don't know why modern fnaf fans need to be told this, but Security Breach was a failure in nearly every aspect, very much because of Scotts ignorance and single-minded idiocy, and Steel Wool has to pick up Scott's tab to make it all back up to the fans again. Only issue is that working with was already totally flubbed has just served to restrict them and the future of the fnaf series. The Mimic should not have been the future of the series, as he's more or less molding himself up to be another plodding boring mustache twirling satan spawn like Scott so gleefully turned William Afton into. Side note, five laps at freddys is a glitchy unfinished messed that needs over a year in the oven and thousands of minor adjustments to make it even remotely fun or even optimized, and Dead By Daylight, while having wonderful presentation and a dedicated fanbase with amazing crossovers that pay amazing tribute to horror icons, is a toxic broken cesspool of a game that is simply not fun without a multitude of friends that also play it, of which many don't have because DBDs toxic reputation precedes itself.

Watched the first fifteen minutes and all I heard was constant bitching. Yes you can dislike parts of the franchise, but to look for everything: even down to the tiniest of details to complain is not a good way to look at the franchise as a whole. Yes the lore has gotten in weird ways, but that's because Scott had a very different story in mind that was actually told in Security Breach, which is why Burntrap was there in the first place (Dawko's second interview with Scott.) Also to your point about the franchise's golden years being over, it's far from it. The tenth anniversary was loaded with announcements, with looks at the animatronics for the second movie coming out next year, a demo for a Mario Kart like racing game coming out next year, as well as a collaboration with Dead By Daylight and a new FNAF game before the start of 2026. And that's not to mention any official merchandise being released by YouTooz and Hex. TL;DR: FNAF is not on it's way out anytime soon.

ngl the golden years ended after fnaf 4 and fnaf world. Bro I wished it when the lore was simpler and when the purple guy didn't have name. Only because I loved all the names people made for him. Purple guy, Purple man, Pink man (No Jesse), Peter, Charles Cooper, and the most famous name, Vincent. Also all the fan theories and fan made characters like Sparky the dog. The only good thing to come out after fnaf 4 in my opinion is fnaf 6. Nothing in the franchise will top the final speech Henry gave.

I don't know, fnaf last year had three big installments two of which were generally enjoyed by the community, into the pit was fucking awesome and if anything scott admitting that the main problem behind security breach story was the misscommunication between scott and steelwhool means that the story isn't ruined, they can still easily fix it even if they have to resort to retcons, because as long as they make it clear i don't mind if the story is changed.

No? I don't really understand what the point is here. Like yeah, it's not going to maintain the same heights all the time, that's just how things work, but it's still very much active and popular. There are a lot of projects on the way, including 2 new Steel Wool games, and the next movie. Just look at how consistently well all the anniversary announcements did on Twitter. Even the less exciting announcements still crossed 10k at a minimum. You don't have to like the newer projects. I've been around since 2014 and I can see that there is a clear shift in how these games are handled now, but that doesn't mean FNaF is on it's way out at all. In fact, I would argue that newer projects have put the franchise in a better place than it ever has been before. While the movie received mixed reception, it still did insanely well. Despite being a day and date release, it pulled in 300 million dollars on a 25 million budget, and it became Peacock's most streamed title of all time within the week. There is clearly a lot of buzz for FNaF 2 as well, and seeing as that movie doesn't seem to be getting a dual release this time, it's probably going to do even better in the box office, especially if it can address some of the shortcomings of the first movie. There is a whole conversation to be had about Security Breach, but what is undeniable is the success the game had. It was recently revealed by Scholastic that the game sold over 2 MILLION COPIES. That is not a number to scoff at, especially for an indie franchise. Even before that, though, it was clear that Security Breach clicked with a lot of people, even outside of the fanbase. Into the Pit became a top seller within 2 days of release on Steam, and it's been the best reviewed FNaF game in some time. Even some of the franchise's harshest critics have been praising the game. There is still a lot of love for this franchise, and there will continue to be a lot of love. The popularity will fluctuate, just as it does with anything that gets big, but it's clear Freddy has made his mark on Pop Culture. There is a conversation to be had about the shifts the franchise has made, sure- while I think the series is generally in a state of higher quality than it was before, I do agree there are a lot of issues that need to be addressed. Still, you don't endure 10 years and then suddenly fall off the face of the Earth. There was a time where it could be argued that FNaF was just a trend, but I think that time has very much passed. I remember seeing people make videos like this back in 2016, when the franchise actually was in it's decline in regards to popularity. That was 8 years ago. Furthermore, Sister Location, the FNaF game that released in that year of decline, was still very popular. FNaF is not on it's way out- I would argue the opposite, in fact. I think there's a lot more to come.

I disagree mostly While im not really interested in steelwools games myself they have obviously improved after sb with ruin and hw2, and i believe they dont need a fnaf 1 level of impact on the entire internet to be good Speaking of the new releases you have completely skipped over the best ones Starting with itp, which is not only a amazing game but the passion you have mentioned is very clearly in this game with the amazingly crafted animations who go as far as to give springbonnie a lot of unique jumpscares based on where he gets you, and incredible detail to each of them with a example being how he will crouch over and put his hands over to the kitchen cupboard before jumpscaring you, even tho this happens way too fast for the average player to notice The love for the franchise also shines in the game with many callbacks such as bouncepot from fnaf world in the vending machine and garrets plane going all the way down to the fnaf 1 dining area chairs being in jeffs backstage and fnaf 3 posters being on the walls and even getting as obscure as to have ginos pizzaria which is briefly mentioned by oswald in the original book have a fading sign in the background while oswalds dad drives him into jeffs There is also the week before greatly characterizating the phone guy and the classic band while being a very good story overall The franchise still has very strong releases time to time even if they dont erupt a volcano over the entire internet, which isnt neccesary for it to be good Also i disagree on movie william, the withering on springbonnie isnt meant to tie in springtrap but to parallel golden freddy who has the same type of withering on his other side aswell as presenting williams two sides as he is a regular looking career counselor with the yellow rabbit, his true face hiding underneath If u paid attention he looks suprised at mike after realizing he is the brother of garret who was his victim years ago, his motive is to finish the job and add his sister into the animatronics who he manipulates to become his tools Also hes entilted to his suit, his creation that is his true identity under steve raglan, he IS the yellow rabbit, the controller of angry possessed animatronics which is why he plays springbonnie as a character, some examples LUCKY ME SYMMETRY MY FRIEND WAKE UP CHILDREN I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU TO PLAY WITH Which is why he might come off as over the top, but he does get serious when vanessa points a gun at him so yeah thats why i think hes better than you give him credit for

Waw we are not living in the same universe! Hw2 and into the pit are PEAK. Fnaf was never meant to be top of the pop culture. It is an IP for he fans, not a large mainstream franchise
